They didn‘t speak to each other much- Dan was too tall, and Brian‘s ever-changing hair color were causes of conversational anxieties. However, upon bumping into each other at a Dinosaur Jr. cover band show, they realized they had more in common than previously expected. They decided to form a band- Yogurt Smoothness, named after the one thing they knew the best, hoping it would inspire them to write music they could listen to while toiling in the yogurt production line, staring blankly into the relentless gobs of bacteria, that would keep them from wanting to dunk their heads into the vats and just end it all.
In 2008, they independently recorded and released “Live Cultures: Vol. 1“, a six song live EP with a limited run of 90 copies. In February 2010, Yogurt Smoothness released “The Diamond Through the Bees”, their debut full-length studio album- another independently created, limited first-run of 200. The digital version of the album can, however, be purchased worldwide through iTunes and various other internet music stores. Having been holed up in a studio for eight months, Yogurt Smoothness is eager to promote its latest release by taking it on tour.

Weird History
What do you think of Hiroo? A good soldier? A mad man? Something else?
David Knight
A dedicated soldier!
Andy Lord
Brian Welch He didn't know it was peacetime.
Andy Lord
Brian Welch He didn't believe it. Some dude with a Chaplin moustache comes into your trench during the battle of the bulge and says in a German accent, "war is over, you lost". Would you believe it?
It's not murder if you legitimately thought your life was in danger, even if it wasn't.
It's not murder if you legitimately thought you were still at war.
Intergalactic Caravan
A total badass!
adam guinee
Please don’t hate me because I admire him. A soldier does what he does because he believes that his actions inevitably serve the greater good, even if they are wrong. And after he stopped, he offered reconciliation, tried to make amends for his actions, and devoted his life to the greater good. So even if he was a bad person, I think he redeemed himself
Team Ski
If you read his book, he is honest enough to admit that he had been a fool the entire time. It takes a real man to admit that.
Paul Farrell
Whats the name of his book?
Double K 'sParents
This guy goes on killing innocent farmers after the war and is then celebrated a a war hero when going back to japan... I'm into Japanese culture and all but this shit is crazy.
Nature Queen
@Double K 'sParents I mean I get your point and even agree, but let's not forget that almost all countries have done that, so it's not exactly just a Japanese thing. America has done it as well.
