+Mack Megaton I hate to say this, but I reckon Baccano dubs are better than the subs. I usually wouldn't even touch the dubs because they sound disgusting, but Baccano is an exception. It really brings the 30's flavour out

WHOOAOAA I FOUND IT so, a short while ago, even though it's been maybe a year since i've watched baccano, this track popped up in my head and I could not freaking get rid of it. I knew it was from Baccano! but eventually it stopped invading my head (although it's not a bad song to have stuck playing :D) and now I've found it! Rojiura no Housoku means something along the lines of "off-street law"

Remember, Charlie Chaplin mania/Chaplinitis was all the rage in the United States back in the Roarin' 20s and the 30's.
Heck, there were even Chaplin costume contests!
(Popular legend claims that Charlie Chaplin himself entered one such contest... and wound up 20th place. Wowzers.)

It's Chaplin. They were wearing top hats too, which is what Chaplin wore. Plus, Hitler hadn't risen to power yet when most of the Baccano story was occurring.
