This same line-up also recorded the next release, the EP "Scanner part 1 & 2" in 1981. After this line-up changes were afoot, with Weber and Grosskopf leaving; leaving the duo of Hanten and Meskes - and this duo would be the only permanent mebers of this project further on. In 1982 they hit the studio again, to make their second full-length album. Former member Weber made a guest appearance on this venture along with Helmut Brüker; and the finalized result was issued in June 1983, named "Time Code". In December 1983 Hanten and Meskes hit the studio again; this time without guest musicians. Two months later their third album was completed, and was issued in the first half of 1984 as "Wonders From the Genetic Factory.
Late in 1985 You started recording what was to be their last album in this first phase of their existence. Featuring guest appearances from Jaime Zenamon and Klaus Gertken. "Laserscape" was made availble to the general public in April 1986.
Following this release Hanten and Meskes hooked up with former member Grosskopf to form the project "Central Europe Performance"; an outfit concentrating on live performances. In the just over 20 years this still existing project many musicians have been involved; with Hanten and Meskes as the core foundation of the outfit. 1995 saw a new addition to the discography of You, with the release of the multimedia production "00:1996:00", and the following year the 5 CD box compilation "Era" saw the light of day.
In 2000 You chose to change moniker, and opted for the use of Yourovion; and releases a fair number of albums of various kinds under that name. In April 2009 Hanten and Meskes announced that they would return to their former moniker You, and that they'll herald the 30th anniversary of their debut album with a limited edition CD package names "The Electric Box".

Time to Wear a Miraculous Medal

The Miraculous Medal is a special medal design based on mystical visions of St. Catherine Labouré in the 19th century. It’s a popular devotional item and is associated with miracles and conversions.
1) I am being reminded daily to “listen to my Mother”.
Almost 200 years ago Our Blessed Mother instructed Saint Catherine Laboure to “have a medal struck upon this model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around their neck.” Our Blessed Mother also told Catherine, “Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person.” For almost two hundred years this message has been available to us.
2) It’s Known as the “Miraculous Medal” for a Reason, and I Love a Miracle!
When the medal first came into being, it was called the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. In less than ten years it became known as the Miraculous Medal because of the many graces and wonders that quickly became associated with wearing it. According to one source, between 1930 and 1950, more than 750,000 favors were granted and registered in just the city of Philadelphia alone.
Our Blessed Mother wants us to ask her for prayers. Our Lord wants us to go to Him and tell him what is on our minds and in our hearts. Having this medal around our necks at all times is a constant reminder to pray. And as Mary promised, those who wear it will receive great graces.
3) Heroic Men and Women Have Worn It and Encouraged Others to Wear It
Two particular individuals come to mind: St. Maximillian Kolbe and Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Before St. Maximillian courageously gave his life for another man, he started a movement and an organization, known in English as the Knights of the Immaculata. He made the Miraculous Medal the insignia of the group and had each member wear the medal. He said it was a “silver bullet” against evil.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, known for her charitable work throughout the world, called it a “medal of charity” and gave it out by the hand full. She said that the medal is a sign that God loves each and every individual at each and every moment of our lives.
4) It’s a Reminder to Ask for Help
The images on the medal were designed by the Blessed Mother and spoken to St. Catherine Laboure. Our Blessed Mother said that the rays coming from some of her fingers demonstrate the graces God gives through her to those who ask and are open.
There are some fingers where no rays are shown. Mary said that is to demonstrate the graces that are not given because they were not requested of her. Just another reminder of Matthew 7:7; “Ask and it shall be given to you”.
5) It’s a Symbol of What’s Most Important
If signs and symbols are important for the lesser things, why not show my enthusiasm for the greatest blessing of all – faith in Our Lord and the love of our Mother.

@@MrAce607 my roots are so opposing and other than I was exposed to young teenage parents that were just the right age to be summer of love Beatles, Three Dog Night, ect but by the time I was old enough to start being influenced or could able to have the this moves me or remember that this is more than music this is a spiritual or addictive vibe I'm feeling I had already at maybe 5-6 experienced a deeper inspiration from certain sounds voices sounds than my adult parents were ever able to understand. They unfortunately had made a house hold change to the early 70s country and western and on rear occasion I would hear something that would just hit that spot but most of the time I would think that stinks. I found a box in a coat closet and it was full of 45s immediately I was told not to drag those out there getting tossed. I saw one with Green Apples on it and a few with a dog with patches. I begged for a couple days swore to find a neat place in my room and would play them on my broke up wobbly third hand turn table.
In that box was the most beautiful most moving the greatest voiced and some other songs that made me unable to keep from moving.
I heard the perfect harmony and youthful energy of the Beatles and I thought if this is in a box why are they listening to Hee Haw stuff on the radio they must not like that goose bump feeling I get. Then after seriously a couple hours of two non stop Beatles I put another one on and imediately I thought I'm not going to like this. And after a couple chorus rounds of No you don't know me!!!!
Bam like a gut punch I heard the first single voice that took that my breath felt like a hug from God and after two plays I still couldn't recall anything butthat smooth voice from heaven. I remember the ladys a little and when that voice came out that little speaker I couldn't tell you if it was guitar or piano violin just the rich from the soul voice of Ray Charles you don't know me. That is so different from those young guys and harmony It was kinda more like Hee Haw stuff but I never felt the pain and sadness from head to toe from a voice. Didn't really recall the words but no need his voice expressed sadness and pain I have no doubt it a sad song. By age 8 and being an abused child raised in fear alcoholism drug abuse and a almost daily physical beatings that consisted of my ninth baby tooth was the first one I got to pull the first eight were slapped out by one three tooth loss for eating to loudly and four were the result of being thrown into a refrigerator for getting in his way and one well just a bitch slap for not setting still enough during a hair cut to the ungodly documented events unheard of in today's world without intervention. My first hospitalization and life long physical scaring event consisted of 64 vivid belt shaped laserations several required a stitch or two three were so hard on a 7 year old stomach that they required a horseshoe shaped set of over 20 stitches. The one that did the most physical damage was a misfire and as the buckle came out of his hand he hit himself in the nuts only enraging him to keep swinging but the buckle first tore part of my ear away from my head the next broke a rib another put staples on my scalp and the last broke my eye socket left cheek bone dislodged my eye and tore my retina. I had been taken to their bed room and the door was locked. See I had done the ultimate sin. Mom purchased a hand held easy to use hair layering comb. Aka the scalping torture device. It was brutal as hell and God only knows I tried to be still and I begged to just have it cut but you ungrateful little bastard you get something special bought just so you can look nice and neat but you don't care about anyone else or what we have up at 16 just instead of thinking about how much better off our lives would be if we said suck his brains out and flush him. Its a goddamn shame we couldn't have known what a selfish bastard you would be. Crying and begging I'm sorry momma please nope I will let him know he will be here in about 15 minutes I bet he can cut that retarted alfalfa cowlick so you don't go to school looking like some inbred retard and that only makes me look bad. My dad passed away last night. The biggest Ozzy fan you’d ever meet. He always bragged about how he got to talk to the Ozzman on a radio show while on a payphone, standing out in the rain (he was a truck driver and was on the road at the time).
