Fall Hard
Young Rebel Set Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

So you think you can walk on water? But darling you would sink like a stone. Cos you're the most cold-hearted woman that I have ever known. And you think you've got it all babe, but you've really got nothing at all. And your arrogance consumes you, it's gonna set you up for a fall. And she moves just like a hurricane; howls into your life and leaves destruction wherever she goes. And you don't even have to say a single word because believe me she already knows.
She's gonna fall hard.
So welcome to the real world. Is it everything that you thought? And now she's so consumed by sadness she's realized happiness can't be bought. Then she constantly reminds you of how much she's got but she's got nothing I could possibly need. She'll never be so satisfied with anything you do, she'll only have you when you're down on your knees.

Marc B

why does this great band just have a few views of their videos?

Viv Lee

I don't know why they seemed to take a while to get really recognised, there's quite a few videos out now, that are well viewed, as you'll know, and of course the very sad, sudden loss of their vocalist /song writer, Matthew Chipchase, last December, has changed things. I've love them since I first heard them about the time you wrote this. and they've produced some great stuff.

David Stobart

@henderson8 yes it's a ridiculous rip off, they've done a very good job of listening to like a "rolling stone" and the minor part of "one of us must know(sooner or later)"

Benedikt

Like a rolling stone... Uups, wrong song. But still good :)

Frank B

1EyeDrive

Viv Lee

There was only one Young Rebel Set, one Matthew Chipchase...and Bob would've liked this methinks.
