I don't do deload weeks in a sense of; ok in 2 weeks I have a deload week on my plan but I feel great! Ok let's deload now!
If it works for you then great do that. Me however, I'm not a fan of it.
For me a "deload week" comes in naturally.
Sometimes you feel like shit, are sick, or extremely busy and can only train for let's say 20 minutes, don't feel like working out at all (we all have this once or twice let's be honest) etc. etc.
So planning a deload week even though you might still feel and perform great, or as you say you're riding the wave, would be counterproductive, since then you're doing great and then suddenly drop the weights even though you were at max level with endurance, power, intensity etc.
So in conclusion: Do what feels best for you!
Have a great day and stay hard 🍀👊
@lombardii
Bro why your posts so relatable to me😂 first the deadlift form and now as I drop like 15% in strength on my lifts you post this
@JustLeein
Don't stress brotha, take a break & come back when the fatigue is low!
@fingertapper88
750 deadlift so relatable
@PyroniusRex
I think this mentality is beneficial when you've maxed and haven't recovered but still want to train. Go lower to maintain your conditioning while waiting for your body to get to that fully recovered new strength.
@reyytioo
de loading is real. i’ve recently started my fitness journey, working my way up from super skinny (135-140lbs @ 6’2) & we just went on winter break. i have a makeshift home gym but i’ve outgrown the possible load for squat as I have no squat rack so here I am back in the weight room & i can no longer squat close to my 1rm. blessing in disguise as now I can completely focus on hypertrophy rather than always having it in the back of my mind that i’ll get weaker in the process thus hurting my ego
@JustLeein
you'll be back & better!
@spartacuscreator
135 to 140 lbs is not "working your way up from super skinny" lol... You havent archieved $hit yet, and talk about working way up.....
@reyytioo
@SpartacusCreator i’m 166 now, pipe down
@teflonmarty2238
@Reyytioo 6’3 … 97 kgs .. loads of fat on back and stomach .. wann build muscle and weight goal is 85 kgs .. gonna smash 2023
@reyytioo
@Teflon Marty you got this, weighed myself yesterday & i’m 167lbs, 175 is my goal i’m setting for myself as i feel i’ll begin to look aesthetically pleasing for myself
