“I like to mix music with comedy it is an important thing for me,” He Says, “it takes away a lot of the stresses that come with music. Although I mix the music with comedy I always make sure it is good quality music and lyrics.”
Zeo has worked with some established artist and producers such as JME (BBK), DJ Q (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Trilla, Bassboy and TRC to name a few. These tracks have been played on local and national radio stations and featured on several blogs, such as SBTV, GRM Daily and RWD mag. With strong support from BBC Introducing, Zeo has witnessed his fan base grow and become more diverse around the UK and Europe.
With tracks such as, ‘Back into Time’, you get a real insight to Zeo as a person, and shows he is still just a kid at heart. The song was chosen as Song Of the Week by BBC 1xtra and was on the playlist of popular DJs such as Charlie Sloth, Trevor Nelson, Gemma Cairney to name a few. (Official Video of this can be seen here). Nationally, Zeo is commonly known for his bassline smash hit ‘Bad Boy Tunes’, produced by TRC and his appearance on Tim Westwood’s ‘Crib Sessions’. After appearing on an episode of BBC 2 TV series No Hats No Trainers, Zeo has continued to study Interactive Media at university and touring the underground UK scene.
Zeo has recently released independently, Solitary 2 which is on all digital platforms e.g. iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc. Songs from the mix tape have been played on 1xtra, Radio One, Kiss FM. He also had 2 songs featured on the Ministry of Sound ‘Sound Of Bassline 2’, which is also still on sale in HMV. In 2013, Zeo was a competition winner of the official Adidas ‘Unite All Originals’ campaign.
Zeo has further proved that he is an artist with a multi-dimensional talent. Not only is he an accomplished music producer, he also directs and edits a large amount of his music videos. Zeo has accumulated over 1million combined YouTube views, with subscribers to his YouTube channel is growing each day.
He says, “When it comes to videos, my aim is do something nobody has done before, or something you would not expect to see me doing. Sometimes this can be difficult as I often think of the video before I have even written the song. So I find myself trying to write about what i imagine myself doing in the video.
With a new mix tape, single and video released, Zeo is side-stepping limits, one hit a time.

In your black dress garble
Your hearts full of lust
But you're all out of luck
A dead man's curve knows no partiality
Takes you from me
You fall out
You fall out
You double dare
And tumble and tear
No one can say
You're worse ofr wear
You try to dream
But it's to dark in there
You call out
You call out
You call out
It doesn't matter
What the doctors say
You're all broke up
You won't care anyway
It doesn't matter
Anyone will do
You're all broke up
You're all broke up
And I wake up
From a sleep so dead
I see you standing
Beside my bed
You touch my hand
And let go of my heart
And then you depart
And I call out
And I call out
And I call out
You're gone now
You're gone now
Bad accident last night

In our own way
In Zeo's song 999, the singer addresses a woman in a black dress, complementing her beauty while acknowledging her heart's desire for passion. However, the singer warns her that a dead man's curve knows no partiality, which foreshadows an impending tragedy. The fall out that follows is symbolic of the woman's reckless behavior before reaching a point of no return. She double dares, tumbles, and tears, but no one can say she is worse off for wear. The darkness that she's trying to dream in represents her inability to see beyond her present circumstances. And even though doctors may attest to her fragility, she won't care anyway, as anyone is adequate for her.
The singer then wakes up from a dead sleep to find the woman standing next to his bed, touching his hand and letting go of his heart before departing. This action is symbolic of the woman's death, which the singer has trouble coming to terms with. In the end, tragedy strikes as the singer and his lover say goodbye in their own way on an interstate in a terrible accident.
The song's central themes include the fleeting nature of life and the consequences of living recklessly. The woman's ultimate demise appears to be a consequence of her impulsive behavior, while the singer's struggle to let go of her after her death suggests a deep attachment to her.
