Can we just talk about how effective this shot is in portraying what depression tends to feel like? The world spinning, time passing, and you're just watching, unable to care.

@emilygracey

Right on the nose! I'm so sick of this "Oh, it's a break up! Blah, blah, blah..." No, this is honest to God depression. Where even moving takes every ounce of energy so you don't move for days, week, however long at a time. The break up was a catalyst to something that was there. I think this did a really good job at portraying severe, borderlining catatonic depression. Good on them for showing the ugly side of it.

@@SharttyWaffle yes its a break up but in that moment she hadn't lost her boyfriend she had lost her life and her soul
But let me explain
Overtime Edward became her life and her soul. She found more of herself in him then she did herself. Yes it was break up but she lost him, herself and all of the Cullens they had became her family.
So she is Over exaggerating anything
You'll understand soon enough
You might lose someone you thought would be youre soulmate a family member a friend a best friend or you might just lose yourself
You will know that pain one day everyone feels it at least once and it hurts more than a cut or a broken bone
It hurts more than antthing

@denissespagueti

@@ellagriffiths3236 I agree, she lost so much, she was finally begginning to find herself, to feel alive because of these new exciting adventures that the Cullens brought with them. But she also lost Alice, her best friend and other friends like Jasper and Emmett, so she was feeling pretty lonely since her high school fiends, except of Angela, didn´t exactly care much about Bella. She also lost a family that truly cared and protected her in a maternal way, because Renee didn´t. She lost all the hope she had to become someone as outstanding, beautiful and strong as a vampire, and yes, she lost the love of her life. But also, if you read the book you´ll understand how Bella thinks of herself as someone who isn´t valuable, and Edward, by telling her that she wasn´t good enough in the break up scene, he hurted her self steem even more. So, no, she is not exaggerating, she is truly depressed.

Am I the only one who feels bad for Charlie? Having to see your daughter in so much pain, hearing her wake up screaming in the middle of every night, and knowing there's nothing you can do. That's got to be utter torture
