Their first album "Wszystko jedno" was released in 2004. The second album "Podróże z i pod prąd" was released in 2005. The band has gone on multiple national tours in Poland.

Music of happysad is made of mainly melodic rock, with influence of punk and reggae, that are accompanied with characteristic lyrics. Only in 2004 the band has played over 150 concerts, including supporting such famous groups as Kult, Pidżama Porno and T.Love.
