In my opinion, Phife delivers his magnum opus verse on "God Lives Through". He raps "Now if my partners don't look good, Malik won't look good. If Malik don't look good, the Quest won't look good. If the Quest don't look good, then Queens won't look good. But since the sounds are universal, New York won't look good". It's indicative of Tribe's importance to Hip-hop and Phife was acutely aware of the path they were forging with Midnight Marauders. Salute Vinrican! Rest In Peace Phife Dawg. Vin Rican this is one of the best episodes yet. Such a tribute to an epic masterpiece of an album. Q Tip I don't think he gets enough props as an all time producer. Midnight Marauders just had something extra. In my opinion the best Tribe Album. Tribe had at least 3 classic albums. Phife Dawg forever salute.

My public comment is this; What I truly love about this Youtube channel is how it makes me feel like I'm in the studio with these amazing idols of hiphop, then actually creating and coming up with lyrics and tracks to these sampled songs.
As a young artist myself striving to be original and personally learn different instruments to play...I've forgotten how awesome sampling is.
The emotions of the sampled song actually set forth the lyrics.
This channel playlist is so amazing! This is historical, fun and brings me back to an inspirational era. Feeling the real music from which 80's hiphop was inspired by.

My 12th grade yr in high school. This was banging loud in my first car as a senior.. Dudes used to race up to my car (during and after school)so they wouldn't sit in my back seat due to the bass thumping.. In fact just b4 I got my sounds I had a big boom box with batteries and a tape deck bumpinnthis b4 I got my sounds.. I had just purchased my first car in Sept right as school started but I got my sounds a few wks after this album came out...The song with Large P and electric relaxation used to bang crazy.
