The only problem you might have is if they don't give off a lot of heat when you do your snow removal detail they might get snow and ice on them that you'd have to knock off every so often, amazing change in the amount of light.

I didn't know that I don't have any high powered led's like those, I have only flashlights some with multiple diodes but none of them get hot, have a good week Dennis.

LEDs run pretty hot actually that's why they have fins on the aluminum housings.

What an amazing difference. I would think from a safety standpoint alone, they are worth the money you paid. I don't doubt that the first night you're able to use the new lights will lead to ordering new ones for the front the very next day. ;-) Don't forget to show us before and after.

Wow, that's a great upgrade. Time for more of them to be added up front. BTW the black vs white, might just because your used to Red/Black for 12v and black/white for 120/240v and they are black is the hot in the 120/240v it it's swapped.

Dennis I have a 2017 MF 4707 so I've found out many things from your videos that apply to my tractor. Very helpful. So thank you. It's an "almost" perfect tractor. My dealer did work hard to correct the sticky remote levers. Replaced the cables, no fix. Replaced the remote hydraulic valve body and finally with some fussing the remotes it's finally is the way it should be. I've checked several other new stock 4700 tractors at the dealership and they all were sticky. Fortunately my dealer fixed mine. Under warranty. One issue the dealer is trying to resolve is the operation of the two rear windows. Design flaw and poor operating levers. I'm going to spray silicone on the window seals but don't think that's a fix. The handles are just flimsy. Love the dealership and the folks there. You've been a big help too. Thanks again.

Hmm that's funny never had trouble with the windows they open and close just fine on mine. I did have one stick remote and it was fixed with a cable.

I took my outside mirrors off my MF 4707 this week. I don't use the tractor on the road like you do, and they were constantly being bumped by branches.

I have a large portable led light that has a large magnet and hooks for straps that I use for extra light. It's so much brighter on it's own. Also years ago i worked with an electrician that kept asking me about certain colors of wires and it turned out he was colorblind lol. So don't feel bad about switching up those wires lol.

My brother was an electrician and he went to repair a phone set on a construction, seams the colours are wired in a Name with the 1st letter of the colour making the name. Well they weren't so he rewired the hand set, he went back to the sparkys cabin and told the rest of the guys, they laughed and told him he now had to get and rewire all the phones on the project. As the guy who wired them was colour blind but he had his own shade code. Well brother just changed the phone and wired it same as before. If you can't beat em join em!!!!!!

Brilliant. Would be interested to know how durable theses turn out to be as there appears to be a high failure rate of LED elements. Also did you check out your radios before and after for interference? Did it quote output LUMENS on the box? The Kioti tractor I use to feed my cattle is fully decked out with LED's and after night it's like daylight, even the cows squint :)

I did use the radio with no problems. I've used a lot of LEDs on lots of different machines and never had one fail yet.

The lights on new tractors are getting better, but they are still lacking. We've always added extra rear work lights and a couple tractors we've added front work lights. One thing we did add to all of our tractors was a small LED spot light pointing down at the rear of the tractor to illuminate the 3pt, remotes, PTO & hitch. It is really helpful when hooking up / unhooking equipment late at night. We added on/off switches to a couple tractors.

I mounted l.e.d. lights on my tractor this fall,...and like your new one's they sure do like up 'the world' front and year now. Another thing,..apparently these light don't put a drain on the battery like the older Halogen lights do.
Those 'before and after' sots really show the difference,...good job!

Dennis, Buddy, I can tell you, you are not the only one that’s swapped the wires around. I think typically the black is usually hot and white is usually the ground or the neutral when your working with ac power. At least that’s my story and I’m sticking to it🤣😂🤣😂. Those lights are amazing. Another great video.

L.E.D.’ s are polarity sensitive.....and the little terminal you mentioned early on is an eyelet or ring terminal, nice looking lights. Good video too....

If the wire is too small, just strip twice as much as you need the length to be and fold it back over and then it will fill the connector up better. Or just solder it on there. And the round terminal that goes under a screw is a "Ring terminal".

Wow what a difference. I have a question for you, when you turn your lights on do the front and the back come on together? The reason I'm asking is, if you are driving your tractor on the road at night, that will blind a vehicle coming up from behind you. Might make for a dangerous situation. Something to think about. Isn’t that the way it always goes ... what makes sense ... doesn’t always correlate.
Anyway a common fix(hack) is to strip back more wire than needed for the connector and just double it up so fits better in the too large connector.

State of Minnesota purchase 11 Ice Breaking Rollers that fit on the front of their tandem plow trucks. The cleated roller <8' wide ???> have a hydraulic hookup. It appears it revolves and hammers as the plow goes down the highway breaking ice into little rectangles pieces for the under the truck plow bladé to push to the side leaving a clear driving lane. Was a local news story.

the massey lights looked like to candles, i have never seen such poor lights on a new tractor, now you can see a lot better behind you now you need to do all the front 4 work lights and it will be like day light in front of you also,

I work a night shift job with a good internet connection. That way I can make hay when the sun is shining. But I don't actually have a hay field or a haybine or tedder or a baler. But I want some of those. Just gotta get my ducks in a row. I don't actually have ducks yet either, but might get some.

bad day. fired up my td-5 85 tractor today, let it idle for a little hour before started blowing snow, but it was smoking blue and it just got worse. oil out the exhaust, dripping of the turbo and down the side of the engine. getting out of the dpf filter i think. it have the 3,6 liter fiat in it. 92 hours on that machine so not very impressed. and of course its snowing like crazy now.
19 year old kid next door have a 930K cat so if i snow in ill have to hire him to plow lol. he have the contract for clearing the city center.
