Right? I detest listening to, probably, 65, 70% of actors discuss their craft or method or whatever the fuck, with Jared Leto on your far-left end of this spectrum. Cena would be on the far right-hand side (the directions are arbitrary; could be North/South... wait, damnit). As much as I hate Jared Leto's acting or especially Jared Leto's talking about Jared Leto's Acting, equally that much do I really enjoy and love hearing Cena talk about working hard and praising the showrunner/scriptwriter, and just generally looking to hand credit and kudos out to anyone and everyone BUT himself.

Sean Penn is very, very fat left on the spectrum, right in Jared Leto's neighborhood. I'm sure you were wondering.

I love Hector's interviews! (IMO he was underused at DC Daily.) You can see the pure enjoyment on his face whomever he talks to (and that's awesome)! Hector's one of the few who truly knows what he's talking about and it never feels like he's reading questions off a prompter because he already knows what to ask.

@Hector Navarro Even over Zoom - ESPECIALLY over Zoom, where I think you often perceive, like, one single vibe/attitude/demeanor/dimension coming through a webcam, rather than a whole nuanced person - that authentic delight and enjoyment is contagious AND also... i would say, protective. It was the perfect tone for Cena not to lean into his (geez, rather stern) correction of your timeline.

Had that been me, I cannot envision anything but me circling back to deliberately be shitty about that & hang a lantern on it (buzzer sfx), which would have sucked, but you were so graceful and it resolved immediately... that's a style/philosophy/methodology to emulate 🤓

Cena has been elevated in my eyes in a major way watching this series. The dude is giving it his all, having a BLAST, and is crushing it. Even the quiet, emotional moments, or moments when he gets high and dances alone and cries. WHO IS THIS DUDE??? 😂 I love it.

@Hector Navarro i think that this was a great interview specially by understanding more about dc comics which i think is awesome and i like the fact that james gunn explain a good story great interview man i see your a big fan man i love this show its funny and totally awesome good interview good questions i hope they do a season 2 of this cause fans deftinely love this but if they were to do a movie again i would give it some time deftinely see how well it does cause its a number 1 hit so far which is a well done yea that my honest opnion dude i would totally audition for this this show is cool funny and hilarious all at the same time but that eagle aint no joke ill tell u that lol lmao i be scared for life lol but im an actor as well i think this would be fun good interview i see your a huge fan all book shells in your home awesome

Aw, Gunn immediately with, "I know who you are!" As someone who's conducted probably 150-odd interviews for various podcasts and local radio shows, what a gracious, put-you-at-ease response to 'I am _ from ____." Gunn's a total pro, by all accounts, and seems to be an absolute sweetheart. I'd have to think he's the ideal guest if you're covering comic books/comic book movies.

Seriously, James Gunn is my kind of person. Deep, dark, empathetic and funny as fuck. This series checks all the boxes PLUS much, much more. I loved the complexity of the relationships and excellent NON-robotic dialogue. Plus I mean anytime we see shit explode and have some fuck/shit words in the dialogue is so right up my alley. DC is lucky to get Gunn on these two projects, they are comedy GOLD! Also, kudos for DC/HBOMax pushing the boundaries in showing real people who represent different communities… LGBTQIA+ especially! FUCK Ya!!!!

Me being a multi-cultural mutt can totes relate to the chopsticks comment. such a great job, @James Gunnnnnnn, you have made me love you even more. It gives me hope for other productions ,shows, movies to have this much cultural insight and empathy… cos in the end, we are all animals who eat, poop and fuck. LOL

MCU needs to take more chances and not being so family first, we are all adults or will so be one soon… Quit acting like sex and foul words mean anything these days LOL Kids will probably do all of the above and not be phased by it.

The diversity really adds to the fun here, by tossing all sorts of different perspectives into the madness. I'm thinking of the moment where the detective is pissed at herself for calling Peacemaker's racist dad "fork" in response his calling her "chopsticks". (She agrees with her partner that "spoon" would have been a better insult, LOL.) Or, the whole dynamic between Peacemaker and Leota. It's all rich stuff to explore.

Peacemaker and the whole Charlton characters,are Awesome, I especially liked them in
Multiversity:PAX AMERICANA.
Comic book.
It's like a Watchmen story,using the original characters meant to star in the originally planned story. Peacemaker is Sick in that story,the art is amazing.
Peacemaker show should introduce, more Charlton characters,like Judo Master...Blue Beatle? Night Shade?The Question? Captain Atom?Thunderbolt- Peter Canon?

She and Janes Gunn have been a couple for six years. And it wasn't like a creepy mogul swooping down on a young actress; their friends set them up on a blind date. At first, she thought it might be a setup, but she watched YouTube interviews and thought she seemed nice. And the rest is history. But yeah, she's gorgeous, and also really good in the show. She plays a familiar character, but she makes it her own.
