Larry Stewart left Restless Heart in late 1991 after the group released the compilation "The Best of Restless Heart." The group then became a quartet and released "Big Iron Horses" in 1992 shortly after which Dave Innis left the group. The group released "Matters of the Heart" in 1994 before splitting up. In 1998, a reunited Restless Heart (minus Innis) recorded three new songs for a Greatest Hits album and then toured with Vince Gill for about a year.
In 2003, all five members reunited and recorded the album "Still Restless" for Koch Nashville in 2004. The record label closed in early 2005 leaving the group without a label. They are still touring and released a live album through their website in August 2007.

Put him out of your heart, out of mind, out of sight
He ain't worth worrying your pretty blue eyes
Let the heartache ride tonight
Yeah, let the heartache ride tonight
I've been watching him treat you bad
I've seen enough and it's making me mad
But his first mistake was leaving you like this all alone
'Cause I got some moves of my own
And I won't do you wrong
No sense sitting here by yourself
When he's out running with somebody else
You played the fool long enough
Now the time has come to even up the score
Now, baby there's so much more
What are we waiting for?
Let the heartache ride tonight
Put him out of your heart, out of mind, out of sight
He ain't worth worrying your pretty blue eyes
Let the heartache ride tonight
Yeah, let the heartache ride tonight
Baby, you can stop losing sleep
When I play for love, I play for keeps
He's in for a big surprise
I can't wait to see that look in his eyes
When he finds out, the heartbreak, what it's all about
He's the one who lost out
Let the heartache ride tonight
Put him out of your heart, out of mind, out of sight
He ain't worth worrying your pretty blue eyes
Let the heartache ride tonight
Yeah, let the heartache ride tonight
Let the heartache ride tonight
Put him out of your heart, out of mind, out of sight
He ain't worth worrying your pretty blue eyes
Let the heartache ride tonight
Yeah, let the heartache ride tonight
Yeah, let the heartache ride tonight
Let the heartache ride
Let the heartache ride
Let the heartache ride
Let the heartache ride
Let the heartache ride
Restless Heart's song Let The Heartache Ride is directed at a woman who is struggling to let go of a toxic relationship. The chorus is a gentle encouragement to ride out the pain and let it pass, instead of holding it inside. The song encourages the woman to stop worrying about a man who has treated her badly and let him go.
The verses depict the singer as a friend who has seen enough of the woman's pain and decided to step in. The lyrics offer a stark contrast between the abusive man and the singer, who promises to treat her right. Although the woman has played the fool for too long, the singer believes that she deserves more and is determined to even up the score.
Let The Heartache Ride is a beautiful country ballad that delivers its intended message exceptionally well. It is a poignant reminder that heartache is a natural human experience that everyone goes through at some point in their lives.
