Rag'n'Bone Man Lyrics
I'm only human
I'm only, I'm only
I'm only human, human
Maybe I'm foolish
Maybe I'm blind
Thinkin' I can see through this
And see what's behind
Got no way to prove it
So maybe I'm lyin'
But I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put your blame on me
Take a look in the mirror
And what do you see?
Do you see it clearer
Or are you deceived
In what you believe?
'Cause I'm only human after all
You're only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me
Some people got the real problems
Some people out of luck
Some people think I can solve them
Lord heavens above
I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put the blame on me
Don't ask my opinion
Don't ask me to lie
Then beg for forgiveness
For making you cry
For making you cry
'Cause I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put the blame on me
Oh, some people got the real problems
Some people out of luck
Some people think I can solve them
Lord heavens above
I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put the blame on me
I'm only human
I make mistakes
I'm only human
That's all it takes
To put the blame on me
Don't put the blame on me
'Cause I'm no prophet or Messiah
You should go looking somewhere higher
I'm only human after all
I'm only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put the blame on me
I'm only human
I do what I can
I'm just a man
I do what I can
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

I imagined a big black dude from the deep south, not the deep south of Sussex. Amazing dude. Best song I've heard this year.

Evan Gadol I was more surprised he was from Sussex,England.Love his silky undertones.Been a fan a few years.Saw him on The Graham Norton show and was blown away.

@GmodGTX No, you're simply wrong. Obviously white men (and women) as I mentioned are very talented, but different cultures spawn different styles of singing. This particular style takes a lot from American black soul music, and he nails it. What would be racist is saying he SHOULDN'T sing like that, or that a black/Asian/Hispanic shouldn't song opera or whatever.
Ignoring the realities of how musical styles developed is your prerogative, but for those unconsciously aware of them or those like me who are consciously aware due to a love of music history, it is far from racist to be able to appreciate the evolution and merging of music that allows a white guy from Sussex to sing like someone from the deep South.
(And to disprove your point, I had no idea that Darius Rucker was black until I saw a picture. My reaction was, "huh, isn't that interesting!" Then I promptly got on with my day.)

White men can be talented too, and white men can have deep voices just as much as black men can. This isn't some white man on "black men's territory". Seriously, what is it with spamming this casually racist comment against white men? White men can also have artists with deep voices and a slower pace. White men aren't all sissies with light voices, even though that's clearly what you believe in your head, as you racially profiled the artist simply based on his voice.
Do you ever go to black make artists video and write comments about how you thought they were white? No, you probably never ever did that, because that would seem stupid to you in that context. You're racially biased for sure.
