Finger Eleven Lyrics
I hold on so nervously
To me and my drink
I wish it was cooling me
But so far has not been good
It's been shitty
And I feel awkward as I should
This club has got to be
The most pretentious thing
Since I thought you and me
Well, I am imagining
A dark lit place
Or your place or my place
Well, I'm not paralyzed
But, I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
I hold out for one more drink
Before I think
I'm looking too desperately
But so far has not been fun
I should just stay home
If one thing really means one
This club will hopefully
Be closed in three weeks
That would be cool with me
Well, I'm still imagining
A dark lit place
Or your place or my place
Well, I'm not paralyzed
But, I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
Well, I'm not paralyzed
But, I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
Not paralyzed
But, I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I hold on so nervously
To me and my drink
I wish it was cooling me
But so far has not been good,
It's been shitty
And I feel awkward as I should
This club has got to be
The most pretentious thing
Since I thought you and me
[Pre-Chorus]
Well, I am imagining a dark lit place
Or your place or my place
[Chorus]
Well, I'm not paralyzed,
But I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
[Verse 2]
I hold out for one more drink,
Before I think
I'm looking too desperately
But so far has not been fun,
I should just stay home
If one thing really means one
This club will hopefully
Be closed in three weeks
That would be cool with me
[Pre-Chorus]
Well, I'm still imagining a dark lit place
Or your place or my place
[Chorus]
Well, I'm not paralyzed,
But I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
[Instrumental]
[Chorus]
Well, I'm not paralyzed,
But I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
Not paralyzed,
But I seem to be struck by you
I wanna make you move
Because you're standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
[Outro]
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you
You'll probably move right through
Me on my way to you

I am the only guy in the crowd on that street without a dark suit coat on in this music video. White shirt and tie. We had a blast. Paramount Studio's 'New York City's backlot.
Whipping our heads around like this, for hours, was a challenge. We were tightly packed together, and many times, heads crashed!
There were only about 15 of us if I recall... And we were CGI multiplied to create the street crowd dancers.
The director was angry a lot! A Lot of yelling, Cuts, do-overs, "Be More SERPENTINE, DAMMIT!!!"s
ππ
The main dancers were EXHAUSTED. Some tears.
So many starts, stops, and takes. All day long.
But it was an amazing experience... During, tho, we all felt excited and chatted up how dang great this song was. Even after hearing it ALL DAY, over and over. And over!
About a year later or so, I was on the same exact backlot, filming Cloverfield! ...the scene where the Statue of Liberty's head landed in the street. ANOTHER amazing, unforgettable movie set memory.
I was there when that streetlight fell on Michael David Stahl's head! We had to pause filming for quite awhile, while he was taken to the hospital and checked out. The guy came back and we picked it up again! Good times.

The choreography in this song genuinely makes it one of my favourite music videos of all time.
Inko Infinity2
@Setsura- sama also YouTube upload dates aren't the years the songs are made smh
Inko Infinity2
@Setsura- sama It was released in 07,how could it be released in 2010 when the upload is from 09
Setsura- sama
@Aniquin Stark this song came out in 2010, it would be very early 2010βs. Though I still entirely agree. The choreography just adds even more to a banger of a song.
