I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
Jimmy Boyd Lyrics

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked
Up in my bedroom fast asleep.
Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night.

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked
Up in my bedroom fast asleep.
Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night.

This is the best version of this song because it's sung by a child instead of an adult pretending to be a child. Jimmy Boyd sings it simply, the way it should be sung, without sexual innuendo.

Sure thing. Still, the biggest adult-child out of that (later) Jacko era appears to have been Michael Jackson's drug pushing physician.

@Lunar Capital Agreed, Jackson 5 did the best. I'm sure Jimmy Boyd was a nice fellow, but he could NOT sing. He also SPOKE in a rather hayseed Southern Drawl, as he was an actor too.

Jackson 5’s version 1000x better. This kid’s voice is repulsive

I've heard this song in many versions, can't say I heard ANY rendition that has a "sexual innuendo"... guess one can't control what's in anybody's twisted imagination.

:D

bruv have you heard of michael jackson 😂😂

....I swear if you haven't seen the twelve year old him singing it then your childhood is completely lost-

Wonderful song. Shows the innocence of children, and their sense of magic. The world needs more of this.

I like this version cause it's so natural and so simple, no special editing like they do now with songs.
