Between 2004 and 2006, she appeared in episodes of several television series, including Cold Case, Strong Medicine, ER and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and was subsequently cast in two films released in 2006: playing a supporting part in Madea's Family Reunion, and starring as the lead character, Akeelah Anderson, a young girl from South Los Angeles who attempts to win a spelling bee, in Akeelah and the Bee. Akeelah and the Bee was released on April 28, 2006, and Palmer's performance has received several positive notices, including praise from film critic Roger Ebert. Now Keke is acting as the main actress in True Jackson VP. as True. She was now performed in Joyful Noise and it was a really great movie:)
Palmer has signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and released her debut album, So Uncool, on September 18, 2007. It featured the singles "Keep It Movin' (feat. Big Meech)" and "Footwurkin'". Palmer also made a home-made video for the song "The Game Song". It is uncertain if this will be the second single or not.
Keke Palmer has recently joined aboard the Jerk Movement and has a crazy single that's heating up the charts called "Super Jerkin" an officially video is said soon to be in the works but check out her you tube video and see for yourself the hype is real.

Bottoms Up
Keke Palmer Lyrics
Move your hips, do your thang
Get off the wall, don't matter what they think
From your fingertips to your toes
You know you're hot, so let everybody know
Gotta take it low, to the floor
From The Hills, to the streets of the ghetto
Hips don't lie, so move 'em up
We ain't gon' stop, till we see everybody's bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up (Bottoms up, y'all)
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Miss KeKe P, lookin' extra glossy
Got a pep your style, lookin' extra flossy
I'm bossy, but I keeps it cute
With my stunner shades on, and a tree in my roots
I got the Chi-town swagger, and I rocks it full
Yes, Mudville, baby, we don't take no bull
We keep it rockin' when we move our hips
Do that old school stunt when we make it dip
Move your hips, do your thang
Get off the wall, don't matter what they think
From your fingertips to your toes
You know you're hot, so let everybody know
Gotta take it low, to the floor
From The Hills, to the streets of the ghetto
Hips don't lie, so move 'em up
We ain't gon' stop, till we see everybody's bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up (Get, get your bottoms up)
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Keep it movin', man
Keep it poppin', man
I be on the move, gotta catch me when you can
Might see my face on the movie screen
Hypnotize you, frame-to-frame, and scene-by-scene
Staying fly while I keep it fresh
Only thirteen, and I ain't even close yet
Sittin' back, saying this a hit
While you swing side to side, and move your hips
You got some swagger? Better let 'em know
You got some swagger? Better let it show
Take your swagger with you to the air, and roll it back out to the bay
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Move your hips, do your thang
Get off the wall, don't matter what they think
From your fingertips to your toes
You know you're hot, so let everybody know
Gotta take it low, to the floor
From The Hills, to the streets of the ghetto
Hips don't lie, so move 'em up
We ain't gon' stop, till we see everybody's bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up (Here we go, here we go)
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up
You got some swagger? Better let 'em know
You got some swagger? Better let it show
Take your swagger with you to the A, and roll it back out to the bay
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Now bob your head, then look away
Whoo! This Miss Keke P, rocking the M-I-C, haha

This album was a banger & still is. Music was so much better even in 2007. Can't believe this album is 10 years old now.

I totally know what you mean lol ive been analyzing this for 13 years and as a professional painter i finally put 2 and 2 together...it was definitely a song about making sure your paint cans were emptied properly after use. How naive was I.
DeAnna McCrimmon
She needs more attention as a singer and actres

Am I the only one who thinks she's saying got my stunna shades on and a tree in my boots ππππ yes? Okay I'm sorry... I even looked it up and that's not what she's saying..
jimster360
lol...the lyrics online make no sense and are wrong. she IS saying what you said basically. "a tree on my boots". she's referencing wearing Timberland boots. the logo on them is a tree.

2020 yβall? I can just see my 10 year old self rocking to this. This song pops into my head a couple times a year. Definitely a bop
