Mercedes Boy
Pebbles Lyrics

Do you want to ride?

Baby, let me tell you
I've been watching you.
See you dancing in my dreams
Feel you heartbeat inside of me.
So if you feel it coming on
Catch me getting in the mood.
Boy, I'll give you anything
Cruising's all you have to do.

Do you want to ride in my Mercedes boy?
Tell me what you're gonna do with me.
'Cause if you want to ride in my Mercedes boy.
There are so many things that I'm gonna do to you.

Baby,let me tell you
I've been wanting you.
Always on the scene good looks and more possessing all of me.
So when it starts to coming on
Catch me getting in the mood.

Oh Baby

Boy, I'll give you anything
Cruising's all you have to do.

Do you want to ride in my Mercedes boy?
Tell me what you're gonna do with me.
'Cause if you want to ride in my Mercedes boy.
There are so many things that I'm gonna do to you.

Do you want to ride in my Mercedes boy?
Tell me what you're gonna do with me.
'Cause if you want to ride in my Mercedes boy.
There are so many things that I'm gonna do to you.

Do you want to ride ?

Do you want to ride in my Mercedes boy?
Tell me what you're gonna do with me.
'Cause if you want to ride in my Mercedes boy.
There are so many things that I'm gonna do to you.

Do you want to ride in my Mercedes boy?
Tell me what you're gonna do with me.
'Cause if you want to ride in my Mercedes boy.
There are so many things that I'm gonna do to you.

Fellow YouTubers, I miss when mainstream music had different genres. I'm 32 now but I grew up with real mainstream music of all genres from January 1, 1970 to December 31, 2003 during my younger days. Today's mainstream music from January 1, 2004 to the present is CRAP. Too much autotune, overused EDM music and all that other shitty garbage. Not to mention girls acting like hos and men degrading women. In fact, girls acted like hos and men degraded women a bit in music videos (2 Live Crew, anyone?) during the glory years of mainstream music but at least mainstream music was better back then, my friends.

In other words, 2004-PRESENT MAINSTREAM MUSIC IS GARBAGE. LONG LIVE REAL MAINSTREAM MUSIC OF ALL GENRES FROM 1970-2003.

Therefore, we should stick to the great music from yesteryear and avoid today's mainstream bulls*** garbage that is playing on the radio these days, fellow YouTubers.

Anyone agree? Thanks. LONG LIVE THE CLASSICS!

Do you remember the days when if you wanted to hear a song like this you had to go buy a whole album for one song or you had to pray by some miracle you caught it on the radio? That was like the stone ages compared to now.

Back when you would just hit record on your boombox, then come back and listen to the whole thing to see if you caught the song. Then tape it from one deck to the other to make your mix.

If you were able to get albums or 45's along a turntable to play them on, you were lucky!

Ladybugg Luv

To the people saying 45's were available, I add: if you had money to buy them or if they were available! I had $0 money growing up! My music came straight from the radio until I got my first job at 16!

Wish I could wake up and be back in 1986, knowing what I know now about technology I would be freaking RICH!

@juan's DawonMan YOU TOOK ME BACK! I DID THAT WITH MY BLANK CASSETTES. REMEMBER IF YOU BOUGHT THE 90 MINUTES PACK YOU HAD ALL THAT LEFT OVER TAPE? NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU DONE FELL ASLEEP WITH YOUR JAM AND SOME SNORING LOL!

I like how an R&B song has a guitar riff/solo in it. I miss the eclectic sounds of the 80s. Too much cookie cutter crap on the radio now.

Princess Marshella Horman - Re: R&B with metal guitar solos - the best by far is Chaka Khan’s “Own The Night.” Janet Jackson wrote “Black Cat” (including its guitar riff) as an homage to her love of Def Leppard. And there’s an awesome little metal solo in Pretty Poison’s “Catch Me (I’m Falling).”

I love it to so funky. If I'm not mistaken I believe this is a LA/Babyface productions.

It's your own fault if you listen to bullshit. The world has never been more full of available amazing music. If you just listen to to Top 40 Radio or whatever garbage is shovelled at you then that's your own fault. And this is coming from someone who is more than old enough to remember this song when it was released.
