Robert Edmore Halseth
on Masquerade for Band, Op. 102
A masterwork by one of the finest American composers of the late twentieth century. This flawless recording beautifully captures all of the grit and graciousness of this important composition. See Persichetti's textbook, 20th Century Harmony (1961) for insights into the piece. Highly recommended.
