This song reminds me of my older brother, who moved away many many years ago and I rarely get to see him anymore.

This song makes me nostalgic for the days when we were little children playing in the back yard on a weekend.
In a way, it feels like he's dead, because I know we'll never get to just hang out like we did back in those days.

I was at a concert this week and they played this song. Beforehand, Alex Ebert told the audience the true story behind it. It's such a beautiful song for a sad sad story. Pure emotion, that's the stuff that catches you like a pop song written just to sell simply can't,.

@checontinua Good things come far & few in between. That's why this is an awesome song sang from the heart and not intentional to appeal to crowd but only for those who appreciate. I like that Rihanna or any mass appeal singer doesnt sing it so this song remains pure and not bastardised.

Well I know it's selfish but I don't want them to get popular because once they do they will change, it's inevitable. Just remember to those of you that love them, go out and see shows and buy their music so they keep making more songs like this!
