RIP Holger. May you fly straight to the land of film soundtracks, open-ended bass grooves and crazy horn riffs. Thanks for opening up the world to me.
@kbi4739
he was the peak of normal
@noelwalterso2
It's hard to comprehend the amount of work that must have gone Into making this when the only tools you have are tape recorders. Splicing and mixing all those crazy snippets of sound together, all perfectly aligned to the groove. Every time I hear it I'm amazed.
@Banksy100
A genius!❤

I have just been trying to convey this. Almost impossible to grasp
@AnEclecticMan
I was floored when I first seen this. It’s just fcking awesome.
@Bhazor
The great part of this video for me is how he reacts to the seemingly random bits of noise, shows every little part of it is deliberate and purposeful rather than just some meaningless noise.
@steveanderson7727
This is the best music video ever, for one of my all time favourite tracks. RIP Holger.

Movies is one of my favourite albums of all time, but I'd never seen this video until now. It made me laugh out loud. The writer of All Gates Open calls Holger eccentric, and I can see why. What a delight. This sounds like the edited remix with the extra bit of keyboards. Thank goodness we still have the great original version on the album.

Wunderbar! Stimmung! I'll bet Holger shot this in one take. Who needs a budget or editing facilities for a video when you have a great musician who is an equally great actor? It's a lite, silly piece of music with some serious substance. Holger is in a class by himself. Fabelhaft!
