Distance and Meaning
Converge Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

And like that heart that got in the way
I'll become the lost cause
The child of burden and rage
Like the distance in your touch
Like the years we burned down
I heard that phone call
The hesitation, the awkward silence
I felt everything in those seconds
Splinters of sentence and heartless advice
Nothing's changed but these days entwined

That's where they die
That's where she outshines
That's where they die

I'll never burn...

And Like that heart got in the way
Like that true lost fire
Like the burden of rage
Like the years we burned down

I heard that phone call
My hesitation
Everything I know
Everything you need

I heard that phone call
The hesitation
Everything I need
Everything you need

Splinters of sentence
and heartless advice
Nothing's changed, nothing's changed
but these days...
but these days entwined
but these days... entwined

That's where they die
That's where she outshines
That's where they die

And now they're born...

And Like that heart got in the way
Like that true lost fire
Like the burden of rage
Like the years we burned down

Distance and meaning...

I'll become
The lost cause
Like the distance
Let it die
Like the years
Fuck you
Like the years
When I'll burn

Milton Arbogast I is classic, dillinger are alright, that discordance axis album is cheeks.

I couldn't imagine a different drummer other than Koller on this album. First time he was part of the band too.

@Pentex Sucks discordance axis - inalienable dreamless is absolutely amazing. been rocking all these bands since I was in 10th grade back in 2000-2001. Pig destroyers prowler in the yard is another one to check out. Also Martyr AD has a sold first album that's worth a listen. And if you want just a straight hardcore band try Trial - are these our lives.

@Johnny B. Good I know about the Discordance Axis one, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing things I heard after hearing the praise, but yeah Prowler is awesome, I think it comes super close to this one. Haven't heard Trial though, I'll make sure to take your word on it and check it out soon :)

@Pentex Sucks Martyr AD is a great album. It's called the human condition in twelve fractions. But that trial album is absolutely amazing.
