He IS a mythical barbarian king after all. Show me the characters in the new one who have the flavor that the old wizard has, that subotai, theif, archer, and dinner for wolves has, and christ, that thulsa doom has! No sir, I'm sure that you, and legions of hormone laden girls, all agree that the new one is better, but the truth is it just doesn't have the awesomeness and originality.. the HEART. Something a lot of the new movies don't seem to have... I think it's because they are just too obsessed with the sexuality of the actors and the amount of resolution, rather than nailing down the story.

I do realise the old Conan is probably not the best portrayal of Conan from the comics. But seeing Arnie in his prime looked pretty much heroic and it certainly was a movie with soul. Ofc the movie had many flaws. It's one of those bad movies I like. IMHO it is much more convincing movie than the new one. So,fuck yeah I choose to be the dying breed to the colorful,fancy,"real fighter". It could be a poor choice in you eyes, but it's mine.
