The lyrics to 倖田來未's song "明日へ・・・" talk about the journey of life and the importance of facing the future with optimism and determination. The song begins with the image of meeting someone during the cherry blossom season, symbolizing a new beginning. As they walk together into the future, they flip through the pages of their own unknown map, believing that they can reach wherever they desire if they have faith in themselves. The lyrics acknowledge that the path might be difficult and challenging, but the singer assures their companion that they are capable of overcoming any obstacles. The act of exchanging words and holding hands with others strengthens them and guides them towards tomorrow.
The overall message of the song is about the power of unity, believing in oneself, and finding strength in the connections and support of others. It encourages embracing the present moment and cherishing the pleasant times, closing one's eyes to truly feel and appreciate them. There is an emphasis on staying true to oneself and walking straight ahead, even when faced with hardships.
