Going going
強さに変えて Do it
Going going
Going going
Break it down
Crash my heart
The end
Going going 光へ
Going going
強さに変えて Do it
Going going
Going going
Make make 光へ
Make make 信じて
Make make 未来を
Make make 描こう
Going going 光へ
Going going
強さに変えて Do it
Going going
Going going
In "Go to the top" by 倖田來未 (Koda Kumi), the lyrics express a hopeful and determined mindset. The song encourages listeners to keep moving forward towards the light, to trust in themselves and their hidden aspirations, and to transform their hidden feelings into strength. It emphasizes the idea that there is no endless night and that there will always be a new dawn waiting.
The lyrics acknowledge that losing something can teach us valuable lessons, but question who can teach us how to forget the sadness associated with those losses. The song then breaks down the desire to accept everything, even though the heart may struggle to keep up. The lyrics suggest that if one were to give up or lose, it would be "The end" right there. However, the song urges listeners to rise up and believe in themselves in the present moment, as it is the time to go towards the light and transform their hidden feelings into strength.
The chorus repeats the idea of going towards the light and believing, urging listeners to embrace their hidden feelings and turning them into strength to reach towards the future. It emphasizes that there is no night that will never end, promising a new dawn waiting to be discovered. The lyrics highlight the importance of leaving behind the unchangeable past and focusing on creating a better future by considering and envisioning the potential ahead.
