20 girls were selected for the first generation and were announced on August 21, 2015. On November 30, 2015 an "under group" was announced under the name of Hiragana Keyakizaka46 (けやき坂46) with Nagahama Neru as the only member. Auditions for more members were announced at the same time, and there are currently 20 members.
The group released their debut single, "サイレントマジョリティー (Silent Majority)" on April 6, 2016.

雖然我是 48 推 也是 乃木坂 欅坂 櫻坂 けやきざか 日向坂 推
雖然欅坂中 平手我也只排到 6 7 推 ( 沒辦法 我的心臟不夠分 )
可是講到表演詮釋這塊 ... 我真的覺得平手可以算是整個 48 46 宇宙中前一二三的存在
包含前輩啊醬 彩姊 生駒 生田 ... 在內一起算的話
沒有設想過 ... 而是根據當下跟著心走 ...
平手在很多場的表演 常有細微不同之處 可是都很有魅力
記得滿早一些時期 聽過有韓粉批評日團 說動作不到位 不像韓國研究生每天練習數小時
練習到每個動作要精準到位 ( 各有各的好 不用比較 )
我只是想到 那個韓粉的說法像是岳不群要求弟子練劍的情況
而平手像是風清揚喜歡的那樣 ... ( 我好像扯遠了 ... )
