A long time ago, or to be precise, a long long time ago, this person was born with black skin color and was raised while being looked down upon by people with white colored eyes. He died as a laughing stock and without any name, so people refer to him as the sad man when they think of him.

He was born with dark skin color and grew up being looked upon with white eyes.

笑い者のまんま 死んだという 名前がないので 人は彼を想う時 悲しい男、と呼ぶ
He died as a laughing stock with no name, so when people think of him, they refer to him as the sad man.

人は彼を見て 笑うだけで つまり 彼には話相手がいないので 花に 話しかけてみたものの 人に笑われて 終わりなので
People just laugh when they see him, indicating that he has nobody to talk to. He tried talking to flowers, but people laughed at him, and he realized it was useless.

彼は知らない 「悲しい」という事を 悲しい男 笑う
