The lyrics of "Amrita" by 牧野由依 begin with a wish to be comforted by a familiar song and to be put to sleep with it as if it were honey or a dream. The lyrics then question why the world seems to be flowing helplessly upside down. The singer then reminisces about a sunset colored sky they had once witnessed and wonders why they cannot be with the person who was with them at that time. They express that if silver rain falls, they hope that the other person will think of the singer and wipe away their tears. The lyrics move on to a scene of a night when the earth seems to be crying, with the singer urging the listener to feel with their heart. If the listener is in pain, the singer urges them to shoot a bow and arrow of wishes into the sky. The song eventually returns again to the silver rain and the singer repeats their desire to be the rain that falls on the listener, as a kind of comforting embrace.
The lyrics in "Amrita" by 牧野由依 are filled with symbolism and metaphor, representing a longing to be with someone who cannot be reached. The use of honey and dreams as a metaphor for comfort and escapism is a recurring theme. The silver rain can be interpreted as a symbol of hope or a manifestation of the singer's love for the listener. Similarly, the shooting of an arrow toward the sky can represent a plea for help or hope. The use of color as a means of conveying emotions is also common in the lyrics. The sunset-colored sky of a memory could represent nostalgia and yearning, while the silver rain could represent the singer's desire to offer their affection.
