He is currently the leader of B.A.P.

I love how these comments below are just so supportive and encouraging. I'm am truly happy because I honestly really miss B.a.p and bang yongguk. I was really sad that they are not big as they use to be along with bang yongguk's health made me even more sad and hurt because I never want to see any of them getting hurt because it hurts me most too. But seeing such a support group of fans it make me happy that we are all able to continue to hear him sing, rap, and produce more masterpieces!

Why some people keep sleeping on bap and yongguk? Yongguk said he wants to stop writing for the group and I'm sad, because he thinks he's not being successful enough to get into the charts. I accept his decision, but I would really like to prove to yongguk that, getting 1st, does not mean anything and that his lyrics are always art and he never disappoints us. I would him to continue writing for the group. At the same time, I would bap to be more recognized, like the other groups, and to win something too. He didn't directly say he wants to stop tho, the interview was most likely a while ago and remember that it's all written in past tense and that he said a lot of things have changed and he has his members to lean on etc. ofc he felt insecure about composing for bap before but i believe he feels better now and more motivated to produce music, in his recent vlive he even gave a spoiler for their new album intro and he recently cut his hair short too (like before he said when he feels really confident, he does that) we should definitely respect whatever he does but its safe to say that we also shouldnt assume that he wants to stop making music altogether ^^

Beautiful. Heartbreaking. I don’t know what else to say. He must have been going through a rough breakup I guess. You don’t just write these songs unless you’re experiencing it. Dear Yongguk, I don’t know if you read these comments or not but I just want to say a few things to you. When I first started to listen B.A.P I was in highschool and now I’m going to graduate from college so I can easily say that you’ve been on my side for a long time. There were times that even getting up from the bed was hard but I thought to myself how you kept going and pushing yourself everyday to face the world and it gave me strength every single time.
