Back from the dead so soon
It's like you never left
Crossdress killing spree
If it feels good, do it
Leave a message when you go
I'm not home, I'm at work
Crossdress killing spree
If it feels good, do it
Back from the dead so soon
It's like you never left
Crossdress killing spree
Crossdress killing spree
If it feels good, do it
Crossdress killing spree
If it feels good, do it
If it feels good, don't do it
If it don't, don't do it again
Crossdress killing spree
The lyrics of 13 Mg.'s song Spree depict a violent and unconventional life, where one can come back from the dead and engage in crossdress killing sprees. The phrase "crossdress killing spree" itself can be interpreted in various ways, perhaps representing a way to break free from societal norms and expectations, to feel alive and in control, or simply to express oneself in one's own unique way. The repetition of "if it feels good, do it" reinforces this idea of throwing caution to the wind and following one's desires, even if they are taboo or dangerous.
The lines "back from the dead so soon, it's like you never left" can be interpreted in a couple of ways as well. Perhaps the persona is referring to a near-death experience, where they came so close to dying but somehow miraculously survived, and now they are back in the world with a newfound appreciation for life. Or, it could be a metaphorical reference to a past life or identity that they have abandoned, but now it feels like they are back in the same place, doing the same things.
Overall, the lyrics of Spree are dark and chaotic, with a sense of rebellion and freedom that can be liberating or disturbing, depending on one's interpretation.
