If my kid has a problem
As a parent, it is my responsibility to solve any problems my child may face.

Its up to me as the guardian to go and solve em'

I am telling someone to be quiet because negativity can also come from those who are supposed to be good.

Even though I was stupid but I put it down
Despite making foolish choices in the past, I was able to recover and succeed.

I was previously involved in gang activity, but I let it go and pursued my passion for music.

When I'm up to know that I was down and out
Now that I am successful, I remember the struggles I faced in the past.

You may have seen me representing gang colors when I was naive and reckless.

I'm thankful, that all my blemishes never made you suspicious

I chose to focus on the positive and optimistic side of life.

My music may have previously promoted the wrong ideas, but now I use it to promote positivity.

Love and positivity instilled in my kid
I want my child to grow up surrounded by love and positivity.

My child's family includes me, their mother, and all of our extended family.

Discipline starts at home even if they can't stand you
It is important to enforce discipline and rules at home, even if it is difficult and the child may not like it.

Watch em' fights land, you clock em' right hand
As a parent, I need to intervene when my child is involved in physical altercations and stop them from fighting.

To stop em' that a man to stand up even add a camera
Stopping a fight shows maturity and bravery, and it is even better if someone can record it as evidence.

They won't be James Holmes, and they won't be Adam Lanza
I hope my child will not become a mass shooter like James Holmes or Adam Lanza.

A John Malvo, I'll flow loud for my child though
I will use my music to be a positive influence on my child, unlike the negative influence John Malvo had on his partner in crime.

Ain't raising no groucho evil out my house yo
I will not allow any evil or malicious behavior in my household.

Instead a me watching em' disappear in the night
Instead of watching my child go down the wrong path and make poor choices.

Air em' at graduation saying that's my kid right there
I will proudly celebrate my child's accomplishments at their graduation.

To my unborn I give my all so you could ball like I couldn't
I will provide everything I can for my unborn child to succeed in life.

Stay in school and play it smooth and do those things that I wouldn't
I encourage my child to stay in school and make good choices, even if it is different than what I would have done.

Pay attention and keep your distance from ignorant instances
I advise my child to pay attention to their surroundings and avoid ignorant behavior or people.

Play a instrument anything that you want just envision it
I want my child to pursue their passions, including playing an instrument.

Follow your dreams, no matter what may come or what may fall
I encourage my child to follow their dreams, no matter the obstacles they may face.

'Cause ain't no shame in failing as long as you know you gave your all
Failure is not shameful if you tried your best and gave it your all.

Stand up, man up, get a handle on yourself tighten your belt
I encourage my child to take responsibility for themselves and improve their situation.

Do what you can to do for you and ya'll just don't, do it for the wealth that they offer
I want my child to pursue their dreams for personal fulfillment, not just for monetary gain.

It sounds awful but if me and your mama' ain't talking
It may not be an ideal situation, but if my child's mother and I are not on good terms and do not communicate.

And she said that I ain't offering a call just as often as I should
If my child's mother says I am not making enough effort to keep in touch and communicate.

I pray that you get older and you understand that I was just, doing what I could
I hope my child will understand that I did the best I could in difficult circumstances.

If she let me, if you have a second I could explain
If my child's mother allows it, I would like to explain myself to my child.

Like so many transitions in life that people change
Life is full of transitions and changes, and it is important to adapt and grow.

Whether I'm on top soil, or dead in a box

My family is expecting a new addition soon.

I still love my daughter Andria, even if she is not biologically mine.

This situation is difficult and I am not sure how to handle it.

When I all I ever did was show love for you
Despite the challenging circumstances, I have always loved and cared for Andria.

I have worked hard and risked my life for my children.

But its cool, the baby mama drama is expected
These challenges with my children's mother are unfortunately common and expected.

And that karma is going to be what I been blessed with
I hope that I will be rewarded for my hard work and love for my children.

My goal is for my children to be confident and independent thinkers, and not be easily influenced by others.

My son Malik was the first to learn and take heed of my teachings.

Abandoned by his mama' on thanksgiving evening
On Thanksgiving, Malik's mother was not present and did not fulfill her parental duties.

Bout' three years ago was up to me to feed to em morals
I had to take on the responsibility of instilling morals and values in my son when his mother was absent.

Values manhood, knowledge a week ago he graduated
I taught my son about values, manhood, and the importance of education, and he recently graduated as a result.

If you ask me about my children, I will say...

I proudly proclaim my love
I openly express my love for my children.

The futures born from my own flesh and blood
My children are my legacy, born from my own flesh and blood.

All that matters, this time
My children and their well-being are of the utmost importance to me.

I pray for my children to have a bright and positive future.
