I deeoly loved this amazing, versatile artist ever since I've seen/heard him on tv with Mick Jagger ("dancing in the streets) when I was 8 years old. I'm so grateful that I had the chance to see/hear him live hen he did the sound and vision tour.
I saved my pocket money to collect all the albums I could find, often stayed up late to watch/record the movies he played parts in and the interviews he gave. Thanks to him I developed an interest in theatre, art (I felt encouraged to paint and write), literature and philosophy. He was the kind of teacher I always wished for. I still imagine what it must have been like to have a conversation about all those things, or even just thank him for waking up my brain and imagination. Even as a child I could tell his voice apart from any other on tv or radio, so that even adults often asked me if a certain song was by him. His voice has something so magical and soothing to me that it can calm me down from the worst of anxiety attacks better than any medication ever could! I was heartbroken when I learned of him passing away. But my heart still sees him with the little soul of that 8 year old child, amazed that the magic people of the other world appeared as pop star/ actor on tv. Because as a magical person from the other world he's immortal!🇮🇪💖

@@EzeKry He's been making music since he was like, 12 hahaha. His old band R5 got really popular around 2013 and they even did 3 world tours, I think. Their album Sometime Last Night is really good if you're into Pop/Rock.
Nowadays he's in a band called The Driver Era, they make modern sounding music with influences from all kinds of genres. I really like their stuff. You can check out "Take Me Away" on Youtube, it's a good example, though they tend to bounce around genres.
