I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
Oh please say to me
And please say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now, let me hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide
Yeah, you got that somethin'
I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide
Yeah, you got that somethin'
I think you'll understand
When I feel that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
The song "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles became an anthem for the band's fans in the early 60s, and it still holds up as a classic love song today. The lyrics express a simple sentiment of wanting to be close to someone and hold their hand. The opening lines set the tone for the entire song, as the singer tells his love interest that he has something to say that he thinks she'll understand. The "something" he's referring to is his desire to hold her hand.
The second verse emphasizes the singer's interest in becoming the woman's partner, and he asks her to let him be her man. He implores her to allow him to hold her hand, which he sees as a symbol of their romantic connection. The chorus reiterates this desire, as the singer expresses his happiness at the idea of holding his love interest's hand.
The bridge of the song emphasizes the singer's feelings of joy and how they're closely tied to the physical act of holding hands. He declares that he can't hide the love he feels when he touches his love interest, and that it brings him great happiness. The final chorus repeats the main themes of the song, as the singer tells his love interest that she has something special that he can't resist, and that he wants to hold her hand.

I'd like to know if they found it difficult to learn to play the songs in the manner of the Beatles. There's never enough (for me) information or insight into the musicianship...
