im new to the family, but i can see why some people can feel upset about how they knew them before they got "famous". its completely understandable. its because you guys felt like you always had this special connection with them from the beginning of their first youtube video and suddenly all these people are just cutting in front of you, making you feel more further and further away from them. i would feel so broken if i were you guys... im honestly really sorry that it had to feel that way, but look on the bright side. we get to have a bigger family (: im so glad that i stumbled into acknowledging this band and somehow learned to love these 4 dorks and all the family members along the way. i just hope we can grow stronger along with the guys' music and everyone that supports them. #5sosfam ย they'll never change, and neither will we. right? i actually miss this so much. back when they were just a "stupid little local band" of teenagers from Australia. I miss being the only one who knew about them out of my whole school, yet im so happy they now have the recognition they deserve. I just miss this sometimes you know? But I always have the memories I guess, still can't believe I had to give up my tickets to a gig of theirs in 2012. but I kinda feel like to me, and those of that have been there for years, before they got big, will always see them as a local band. because they always will be that same band won't they?

I am dutch but I knew them since luke his mayday parade-jersey cover and I never got to meet them or show them they had a dutch fan in those early days already ๐ and I am sad that I never could experience things like those and the ability to have a proper talk with them on the street or something is gone ๐
