Be Not So Fearful

Someone watches you, you will not fail
Be not so nervous, be not so frail
Be not so nervous, be not so frail
Be not so sorry for what you've done
You must forget them now, it's done
And when you wake up you will find that you can run
Be not so sorry for what you've done
Be not so fearful, be not so pale
Someone watches you, you will not leave the rails
Be not so fearful, be not so pale
Be not so fearful, be not so pale
Be not so sorry for what you've done
You must forget them now, it's done
And when you wake up you will find that you can run
Be not so sorry for what you've done
Be not so sorry for what you've done
A.C. Newman's song Be Not So Fearful is a message of hope and reassurance to someone who is anxious and afraid. The song is a reminder that there is a higher power watching over us and that we can always turn to it for support and guidance. The first verse encourages the listener to be strong and confident, reminding them that they will not fail because they are being watched over. The second verse speaks to feelings of regret and shame, advising the listener to let go of their past mistakes and focus on moving forward.
The chorus is a repetition of the message of the song, urging the listener not to be fearful or sorry for what they have done. Instead, they should be strong, confident, and unafraid, trusting in their own abilities and in the support of the higher power watching over them. The simplicity of the lyrics and the repetitive nature of the song create a meditative quality, allowing the listener to focus on the message and find peace in its meaning.
