ARB Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
TOKYO STATION
TOKYO STATION
TOKYO STATION
TOKYO STATION
These lyrics are from the song "Saraba Aibou" or "Farewell, Partner" by ARB. The song describes the departure of two friends from Tokyo Station, with one of them leaving behind a city that left them unfulfilled. As they part ways, the lyrics suggest that they are looking forward to a new future, free from the constraints and disappointments of the past. The first verse paints a picture of the night approaching and the train lights coming on, signalling the moment of departure.
As the song progresses, the lyrics touch upon the dreams and aspirations of the two friends who have spent their lives together chasing the city's dreams. The second verse mentions that they have always been together since their childhood, constantly chasing urban dreams, but now it's time for one of them to move on. The lyrics suggest that they are both tired and disillusioned, but still hopeful for a better future. The chorus repeats the phrase "farewell, partner" and hints at their plans for a better future and a new journey.
Overall, "Saraba Aibou" is a song of nostalgia and hope for the future. It captures the feelings of two friends who have grown tired of chasing an unfulfilled dream and are now ready to start anew with optimism.
