This is what I love about Ron's crush compared to Draco's, and I love that it's highlighted here! :D
Ron sees Hermione and is taken away by her beauty, surprised and shocked he hadn't seen it before. He recognizes it as part of Hermione's character overall, but he knows it doesn't define her (see A Very Potter Sequel for further proof, specifically Act 2 Part 6). He knows she's smart, and kind, and strong, and at the same time shy and reserved.
Then Draco comes in and all he sees is her beauty. He's only talked to her face-to-face a handful of times, and so he doesn't see what Ron sees; he doesn't love her the way Ron does. Ron's been crushing on her since first year (again, see AVPS, Act 2 Part 6) and has been through hell with her (and Harry). Ron KNOWS her; Draco doesn't.
Also, I'd like to point out that when they're telling themselves to let go of their crushes, they're doing it for different reasons.
Ron says "... She'd laugh 'Poor Weasley'!" as if he thinks he isn't good enough for her. This is reiterated further in AVPM (Act 2 Part 6).
While Draco has the mindset that he couldn't possibly like a Muggle-born witch, so he can't like her.
This is why I love StarKid so much, they put so much thought into their lines and lyrics, as well as their acting; their body language and facial expressions especially. Here, Ron's movements are fluid and almost graceful (I say almost because, c'mon, it's RON), while Draco's are jerky and violent.

I swear Lauren is exactly what female Draco would look and act like. I love it. Don't normally ship Dramione (don't really ship Draco with anyone, he's just one of those characters), but it's adorable here.
