1. U-Turn (Lili) (the song has been integrated in the movie as a song written by a character for his sister ; the character of the sister has then been renamed in "Lili" to match the song). This song made the band very well known nationally.
2. Mister K.
On the first AaRON album, they covered the song Strange Fruit, a song which was made famous by Billie Holiday. The version they perform on the album is drawn largely from Nina Simone's rendition on her 1965 album Pastel Blues.

Ride on
Aaron Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
All as an army of clones
Sleeping, dreaming, under influence
Sweet little boy
Drinking the world
Where are you going?
The bar clothes his shutter
In which way does your pretty chin
Sweet little girl
Drinking the world
You wish on stars sealed in the pavement
'Cause money can't buy the ones above us
You ride with sadness inside your jeans
Lost in some dreams that have the size of your TV screen
And don't you dare walk all over me
Don't forget that once you were free
You wish on stars sealed in the sidewalks
'Cause money can't buy the ones above us
You ride with sadness inside your jeans
Holding on dreams that are the size of your TV screen
Don't forget that once you were free
So don't you dare walk all over me
The lyrics of Aaron's song "Ride On" depict the struggles of young individuals who find themselves caught up in modern society's expectations of success, popularity, and materialism. The lines "Ghostly clothes worn as shields on the shoulders, All as an army of clones" suggest that people conceal their true selves by donning trendy clothing to fit in with their peers. The next line "Sleeping, dreaming, under influence" speaks to the prevalence of substance abuse in today's culture, as many people turn to drugs and alcohol as a way of coping with their feelings of emptiness and disillusionment. This is further emphasised in the phrase "Sweet little boy, drinking the world" and "Sweet little girl, drinking the world" which describes the lack of discernment in society in terms of trying to find happiness, as they indulge in harmful vices.
The song addresses the idea that people often seek validation from external sources like material wealth, "You ride with sadness inside your jeans, Lost in some dreams that have the size of your TV screen." It emphasizes that warping one's personal identity in favour of fitting in with contemporary cultural norms can lead to a loss of freedom and personal power, as stated in the line, "Don't forget that once you were free, So don't you dare walk all over me."
