1. U-Turn (Lili) (the song has been integrated in the movie as a song written by a character for his sister ; the character of the sister has then been renamed in "Lili" to match the song). This song made the band very well known nationally.
2. Mister K.
On the first AaRON album, they covered the song Strange Fruit, a song which was made famous by Billie Holiday. The version they perform on the album is drawn largely from Nina Simone's rendition on her 1965 album Pastel Blues.

Maybe it's because I'm sinking too
I'm watching all the waves roll by
All I do is sinking inside
Babe if I can't hold you, It's just because I'm sinking too
If a grown up is just a child gone bad
Welcome to the sad boys club
I'm only
Understanding who we are
Poems and sidewalks
Just street soldiers, lost into the sea of heartbeats stories
The clouds are shaping a nest where the dead lovers wish to hide
And, you're sinking and I can't hold you
Baby it's because I'm sinking too
I'm watching all the waves around
All I do is sinking inside
Babe if I can't hold you, It's just because I'm sinking too
If a grown up is just a child gone bad
Welcome to the sad boys club
(Lonely)
I'm lonely
Understanding who we are
Poems and sidewalks
My cheeks are salty, just like the fleshy lips that stole my soul
A bunch of grey birds, like dust dwells on the sun we used to own
You're sinking and I can't hold you
Baby it's because I'm sinking too
I'm watching all the waves around
All I do is sinking inside
Babe if I can't hold you, It's just because I'm sinking too
If a grown up is just a child gone bad
Welcome to the sad boys club
The lyrics to Aaron's song, Shades of Blue, depict a feeling of sinking and loss. The opening lines, "Hey, you're sinking and I can't hold you, Maybe it's because I'm sinking too," suggest that the singer is struggling to stay afloat while trying to support someone else. The use of water imagery, such as "waves roll by" and "sea of heartbeats stories," furthers the theme of sinking.
The chorus, "Babe if I can't hold you, It's just because I'm sinking too, If a grown up is just a child gone bad, Welcome to the sad boys club," implies a sense of shared pain and a need for connection. The reference to the "sad boys club" suggests that this feeling of sinking and loss is not unique to the singer, but rather a universal experience.
The imagery in the lyrics, such as "clouds shaping a nest" and "grey birds, like dust dwells on the sun we used to own," create a sense of nostalgia and longing for something that has been lost. The repeated use of the phrase "I'm sinking inside" highlights the depth of emotion behind the lyrics.
Overall, Shades of Blue is a poignant portrayal of struggling with personal pain while also trying to support others, and the universal human experience of loss and longing.
