Neville charted again, in 1989, when he collaborated with Linda Ronstadt on three consecutive duets: Don't Know Much, All My Life, and When Something Is Wrong with My Baby, the first two reached Number One on the Adult Contemporary charts. Neville has released more than 20 singles, including three Number Ones on the Adult Contemporary format, and a fourth on the R&B format.
His other hits have included Everybody Plays the Fool, his successful 1991 cover of the 1972 Main Ingredient song, that reached #8 on the Hot 100; Don't Take Away My Heaven, Hercules and Can't Stop My Heart From Loving You (The Rain Song). Neville's biggest solo successes have been on the Adult Contemporary chart, where "Don't Know Much," "All My Life," and "Everybody Plays the Fool" all reached Number One.
Aaron signed to SonyBMG's new Burgundy Records label in late 2005 and recorded an album of songs by Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Sam Cooke and others for Bring It On Home...The Soul Classics, released on September 19, 2006. The album, produced by Stewart Levine, features collaborations between Neville and Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples, Chris Botti, David Sanborn, Art Neville, and others. The album's first single was a remake of The Impressions' 1963 classic It's All Right.
On October 27, 2006, Neville made a guest appearance on an episode of the soap opera The Young and the Restless. He sang Stand By Me" and Ain't No Sunshine, from his album, Bring It on Home … The Soul Classics. In 2008 he released Gold, which includes a double album of his hits.

Let's Live
Aaron Neville Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
When you know you're in love
Throw your pride in the ocean
And be happy beneath the stars above
Confess your feelings to the one you love
And let's live, before it's too late
Let's live
Why deprive yourself
Of the wonders of life
Time is getting shorter
There's no reason for those lonely nights
If you don't, if you don't love me
You'll miss the boat
And let's live, before it's too late
Let's live
Why should you live
In a sad state of mind
Problems, problems
Problems all the time
Do your best to get them
Off your chest
Everything, everything
Will be just fine, oh oh
Love is nice
Love is sometimes cruel
When you've been in love you have been
To the greatest school
So try and make an "A" honey
And I'll do the same
Let's live, before it's too late
Let's live, before it's too late
Let's live, you know, I know, I know
Before it's too late
So, come on, come on, come on, come on
Let's live, let's live, let's live, before it's too late
The song "Let's Live" by Aaron Neville is a call to action to those who are holding back their love. The first verse encourages the listener not to torture themselves by denying their feelings, but instead to throw their pride away and be happy by expressing their love. The second verse emphasizes the fleeting nature of time and the importance of not missing out on the wonders of life, including love. The third verse acknowledges that life can be difficult, but encourages the listener to share their problems with their loved one in order to overcome them. The chorus repeatedly urges the listener to live and love before it's too late.
Overall, the song serves as a reminder to be present in the moment and to not hold back one's love for fear of rejection or heartache. It encourages taking a risk and living life to the fullest, even if it means facing challenges and hardships.

Why torture yourself,
Why put yourself through unnecessary pain and suffering,
When you know you're in love

Let go of your ego and vulnerability,
And be happy beneath the stars above
Allow yourself to experience joy and happiness under the beauty of the night sky,
Confess your feelings to the one you love
Open up and express your emotions to the person you care for,
And let's live, before it's too late
Let's embrace life and all its possibilities, before it's too late,

There's no reason for those lonely nights

If you don't, if you don't love me
If you do not have feelings for me,
You'll miss the boat
You will miss out on an important opportunity,
Why should you live
Why should you stay alive,
In a sad state of mind
In a gloomy and depressed mental state,
Problems, problems
Difficulties, difficulties,
Problems all the time
Seemingly endless struggles,
Do your best to get them
Put forth effort to overcome them,
Off your chest
Share your troubles with someone,
Everything, everything
All things,
Will be just fine, oh oh
Will eventually be okay,
Love is nice
Love is enjoyable,
Love is sometimes cruel
Love can also be harsh and difficult,
When you've been in love you have been
When you have experienced love,
To the greatest school
You have learned from the best teacher,
So try and make an "A" honey
So aim for the highest grade, my dear,
And I'll do the same
And I will follow suit,
Let's live, before it's too late
Let's enjoy life to the fullest, before it's too late,
So, come on, come on, come on, come on
So, come on, let's go,

Someone gave me a compilation album called the story of rhythm and blues in 1979 when I was 16, this stood head and shoulders above the rest of the tracks,,
Friend asked what a 16 year old was doing listening this music, I just replied because I can feel everything I hear , he looked at me in a strange way , still feeling iit now after 41 years ,,

🤔 This song puts me in the mood to book a life transforming spa weekend, with 8 other people I've never met. We could enjoy a fresh smoothie, dig some holes, go for a run, take a hike, hang out in the pool, or maybe even get acupuncture...
Wouldn't that be perfect? It's exactly what I need.

This song hooked me when I heard it from the pool scene of Melissa McCarthy and Bobby cannavale. They're cute in that scene I might add.
