Ace Troubleshooter came to an abrupt end in February 2005 when lead singer John Warne left to play bass for Relient K. Toby David posted the announcement of the Ace's death on the band's message board, mentioning that even though he was not an original member of the band, he felt like he was. It has been said that Ace was starting to fall apart as it was, and they were not going anywhere, which may have led to the band's split.
The Ace Troubleshooter lineup changed several times; even Relient K former drummer Dave Douglas filled in as a guitarist for a short time. Only two original members remained when the band came to an end. Those two members, John Warne and Josh Abbott, both played in the short-lived band Guerilla Rodeo shortly before Ace's death. While John Warne went on to play for Relient K, Josh Abbott went on to play for My Red Hot Nightmare.

Jasmine, I've been wrong
I've been wrong about nothing
It's still the same, I wish you changed
It's still your game by your rules
And I will never learn nothing.
And nothing ever changes.
You're asking me to go to an ordinary satisfactory almost paradise.
Staying round you
Hanging round you, Jasmine
With the sound of our straws
Sipping down Yoohoo
You tantalize, I fantasize
And in your eyes is the world
When all else fades into nothing
I'm the proof you're beautiful
When you're aloof I get dumb
And I can't think about nothing else
And nothing ever changes
You're asking me to go to an ordinary, satisfactory almost paradise
Staying round you
Hanging round you, Jasmine
Sipping down Yoohoo
Love's a beehive of honey and stings
And I don't care if I never learn nothing
Staying round you
Hanging round you, Jasmine
With the sound of our straws
Sipping down Yoohoo
The song "Jasmine" by Ace Troubleshooter is about a person who has been infatuated with Jasmine for a long time, possibly even in love with her, but feels like he can never have her. He recognizes that he has been wrong about Jasmine, that she will always play by her own rules and he will never learn anything from her. Despite all of this, the singer still ends up hanging around Jasmine, sipping Yoohoo, and daydreaming about being with her. He admits that love can be beautiful but also difficult, and even though he may never learn anything from it, he's content staying around Jasmine.
The lyrics of the song are somewhat ambiguous, leaving room for interpretation. It's unclear if the singer and Jasmine have ever had a relationship or if it's entirely in his mind. The song could also be taken as a commentary on unrequited love, with the singer staying around Jasmine despite knowing he can never have her.
