Fire In My Bones
Adam West Lyrics

Away from me
You've got it coming
And I'm all for free
If you follow me down into a pit of love
I've got a backbeat breaking to the sound of a drum all day
That's what I say
I got a six pack chilling in the fridge under my bed
I've got a fire
Down in my bones
Can't you feel it burning?
They call it stalking
I call it charm
You never looked better
Than hanging on my arm
What do you want from me?
You're asking constantly
You'll never get away from me
No way
These lyrics are from the song "Fire In My Bones" by Adam West. The song is about pursuing someone who is running away, calling her out for whatever she is running from, and expressing a desire to be with her. The singer tells her that she cannot escape him, and he wants her to follow him down to the "pit of love" where he can share his six-pack and the fire that burns inside him.
At the core of the song is the passion that drives love, the idea of chasing someone you desire relentlessly and coming up with creative and humorous ways to woo them. The words "They call it stalking, I call it charm" indicate that the singer is aware of the thin line between being a romance hero or a creep, but he is confident in his pursuit of his desired partner. The lyrics, especially the chorus, underscore the passion and intensity of the singer's feelings and his determination to get the woman he loves.
Overall, "Fire In My Bones" is a bold and confident declaration of love, full of energy, passion, and humor. It captures the thrill of the chase, the excitement of pursuing someone you desire, and the joy of discovering that your love is reciprocated.
