In September, 2006, Adelphi was dropped from Drive-Thru Records. It is unknown exactly why this occurred, but some fans suggest their demos (assisted by producer/engineer Matt Thomas) hardly made it past owner Richard Reines’s desk. Almost instantaneously, the band released 3 demos onto their MySpace profile. These demos are more dynamic employing various percussion instruments including Tambourines, Cowbells, and Shakers. Haller switched to bigger shells and different drum tuning. Lichtfuss’ bass tones shifted more to the midrange. Sophocles and Keaton switched exclusively to combo amps of different vintages, and further employed the use of effects as they saw fit.
The band played their last show as Adelphi on December 30, 2007 and three members formed a new band.
Keaton, Haller, Thomas, and Dan Book (of Voodoo Blue) now compose the band The Everlove.

Ticking till the sun will someday cease to
Shine into your eyes.
All we've got is time.
It seems I'm spell-bound by your smile.
My eyes are swirling with a black and white design.
The brightness of your face defines the night in which I stand,
All we've got is time,
Ticking till the sun will someday cease to
Shine into your eyes.
All we've got is time.
It seems I've wandered from my mind,
Arms out to reach you as I dive into those eyes.
I'll perch upon your sunlit brow (all we've got is time)
And view a world that's fallen underneath your spell.
You're so far, so it seems, but I'll chase you endlessly
through the dark open sea.
When the light starts to creep and you slip away from me,
Only then will you see.
All we've got is time,
All we've got is..
All we've got is time,
Ticking till the sun will someday cease to
Shine into your eyes.
All we've got is time.
All we've got is time [x2]
The theme of "All we've got is time" in Adelphi's song "Junga Junga" is related to the transience of human existence, emphasizing how we must cherish the moments we have in life. The lyrics imply that time is ticking until the sun will someday cease to shine into our eyes, suggesting that no moment is permanent, so we must seize the opportunities in the present.
The first stanza conveys the idea that time is limited and precious. The bright light of the sun symbolizes life, and the suggestion that it won't shine forever implies that existence ultimately has an end. The singer is aware of the ticking of the clock and urges the listener to recognize that all we have is time.
The second stanza expresses the singer's fascination with the person he is singing to. He is spellbound by the individual's smile and becomes lost in their eyes, with the brightness of their face illuminating his surroundings. The singer is captured by the person, who is under a spell, and the implication is that they too should appreciate the time they have, as they have the power to captivate others around them.
In a deeper sense, the song highlights the importance of living in the moment and savoring it, rather than wasting time on trivial things that don't matter. Time is a finite resource, and we need to ensure we use it wisely, make significant relationships, and pursue our passions and dreams to the fullest.
