Yeh pal hai saath yahin hain
In zindagi ki rahon mein
Ae adam tu akela nahin hain
Mere yaar.
(The whispers have turned to voices)
Mere yaar.
Mere yaar.
(Time is ticking back)
Mere Yaar...
Manzilien milengi tujhko teri
Gam na kar, koshishein kar poori
Dekh yahin kahin roshani hain
Sar utha manzil wahin hain
Mere yaar.
(The whispers have turned to voices)
Mere yaar.
(Solemn prayers to rejoices)
Mere yaar.
(Time is ticking back)
Mere Yaar...
The lyrics of Advaita’s song Mere Yaar seem to be inspired by the idea of being there for a friend who may be going through a difficult time. The opening lines "Naarazagi ki baat nahin hain, yeh pal hai saath yahin hain" suggest that despite any disagreements or misunderstanding between friends, they should let go of their grudges and be together in the moment. The following lines "In zindagi ki rahon mein, Ae adam tu akela nahin hain", speak to the idea of not feeling alone on the journey of life, and the reassurance that there are always people who care.
The chorus "Mere yaar" highlights the importance of having reliable friends; even when whispers turn to voices, it is these close companions who will stick by one's side. The line "Time is ticking back" could be interpreted as the passing of time being an opportunity to rebuild friendships, and to appreciate these relationships while one still has them.
The verse "Manzilien milengi tujhko teri, Gam na kar, koshishein kar poori, Dekh yahin kahin roshani hain, Sar utha manzil wahin hain" suggests that the person should not lose hope, and if they work hard enough their goals can be achieved. With a positive attitude and the help of friends along the way, one can overcome challenges and find light in difficult times.
Overall, Mere Yaar is a reminder to appreciate the people in one's life, and to be there for them, even when the going gets tough.
