Chill: Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The lyrics of Akhenaton's song Assedic: 3 Heures du matin depict a conversation between an unemployed person (Chill) and an employee of the unemployment agency (employed des ass). Chill is frustrated and exhausted as his unemployment benefits have not been paid even after three months of applying. He visits the agency to inquire about the delay and gets bombarded with questions and excuses from the employee. The employee eventually tells Chill that he does not qualify for the benefits due to some ridiculous reasons, including his left leg not being blue and his right testicle being heavier. The song ends with Chill waking up from this nightmare.
The song portrays the Kafkaesque bureaucracy and the struggle of people who are dependent on the welfare system. The lyrics also highlight the indifferent attitude of some government officials towards those struggling with poverty and unemployment. The song shows how the system can make one feel helpless and frustrated, leading to an endless cycle of poverty and marginalization.
