campagne massive gars, microphonique illiade
In the second verse of Akhenaton's song Gemmes, he asks for a good reason to give up his microphone and his saber. He explains that his passion for music has been with him since he was young and when he started, it was not as popular as it is today. He mentions preaching in lost corners and calling upon the heavens for help. He talks about how he was saved from an imprisoned and narrow life through music, and how he observes the Hip-Hop world, where only the worthy MCs remain standing. Akhenaton expresses his desire for his music to be like a gem that is engraved and not a partner.
Throughout the verse, Akhenaton uses metaphors and analogies to express his complex feelings and experiences as a musician. He likens himself to a jeweler engraving gems with his pen, while others may be creating partnerships. He talks about how his music is his faith, and how it has saved him from a narrow-minded and imprisoned existence. He tells his audience how he observes the Hip-Hop scene, where only the most talented remain relevant. Overall, the verse is about Akhenaton's love for music and his dedication to the art form, despite the struggles and hardships he has faced.
