The album also features most of his popular songs including "Sing Me To Sleep" with Iselin Solheim, "Alone" with uncredited vocals from Noonie Bao, "Darkside" with Au/Ra and Tomine Harket and more. Its first part was released on 17 June 2022, with its first tracks being: his remix of "Adventure Time" with Philter, "Somebody Like U" with Au/Ra, "Blue" with Ina Wroldsen, along with previously released songs "The Drum" featuring uncredited vocals by Kristin Carpenter and "Hello World" with Torine. According to him, it is to keep a low profile, but then also stated that the mask is now more of a sign of unity and being alike each other.
Throughout his decade-long and counting career, he amassed over 40M YouTube subscribers - notably being the second most subscribed EDM artist, and 50 billion audio and video streams.

Mirrors, they never lie
Don't see myself inside
Why can't I get it right?
I don't know
You're always watching me fall
Shadows, they like my wall
I don't know
So I walk into the dead of night
Where my monsters like to hide
Chaos feels so good inside
Now I know
I lost, I lost, I lost control again
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
I don't, I don't, I don't know who I am
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
Oh
Tired of being afraid
But lately, I lost my faith
What is love without pain?
It ain't home
You're watching me, but I'm below
When I get caught, I hope
This is kind of like how they will
Take me home
So I walk into the dead of night
Where my monsters like to hide
Chaos feels so good inside
Now I know
I lost, I lost, I lost control again
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
I don't, I don't, I don't know who I am
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
I know that I'm a mess
But I ain't trying to be the best
Oh, whatever's coming next
I better pray-ay-ay-ay
Never said I was an angel
I am damaged all the way
So whatever's coming next
I better pray-ay-ay-ay
I lost, I lost, I lost control again
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
I don't, I don't, I don't know who I am
Always do the same and not to blame, I lost control again
The lyrics of Lost Control by Alan Walker delve into the concept of self-discovery and fear of the unknown. The singer seems to be lost, struggling to find his identity and battling issues that he cannot comprehend. He feels like an outsider looking in, unable to connect with the world around him, and constantly falling. The line "Everything they ever liked, Don't see myself inside" denotes the singer's inability to identify with other people's tastes and lifestyle, making him further disconnected from society.
The singer appears to be harboring pain and hurt from previous experiences, evident in the line "What is love without pain? It ain't home." He feels like he has lost his way and his faith, which could be attributed to the experiences that have shaped him. The line "So, whatever's coming next, I better pray-ay-ay-ay," suggests that the singer has accepted that he is flawed and needs help to weather whatever new experiences are coming his way. He knows that he is not perfect, and is willing to learn from his past experiences while facing the uncertainties of the future.
Overall, the song seems to be about the singer's struggles with personal growth, self-discovery, and finding a sense of self in a constantly changing world. The lyricist allows for the interpretation of the song to vary according to the listener's experience or how they relate to the lyrics.
