In the aforementioned year - 2015 - Walker released his most well-known single "Faded", a remastered vocal version of "Fade", on 8 December; featuring uncredited Naustdal pop singer Iselin Solheim. The said single charted well globally, and made it as the lead single of the artist's debut album "Different World".
The album also features most of his popular songs including "Sing Me To Sleep" with Iselin Solheim, "Alone" with uncredited vocals from Noonie Bao, "Darkside" with Au/Ra and Tomine Harket and more. "Different World" was officially released on 14 December 2018, and since then, it gained billions of streams on Spotify alone; with "Faded" being the most streamed with over 1B streams.
On 26 November 2021, Alan Walker released his second studio album "World of Walker", which consists of 15 (13 songs, 2 interludes) including "On My Way" with singer Sabrina Carpenter and rapper Farruko, "Alone, Pt. II" with Ava Max, "Fake A Smile" with salem ilese, and his older unreleased song "Heading Home" with Ruben. His sophomore might've not met the same success as his debut, but it handled hits nonetheless.
In 2022, he announced his Walkerverse world tour, alongside his upcoming album of the same name which was released in two parts. Its first part was released on 17 June 2022, with its first tracks being: his remix of "Adventure Time" with Philter, "Somebody Like U" with Au/Ra, "Blue" with Ina Wroldsen, along with previously released songs "The Drum" featuring uncredited vocals by Kristin Carpenter and "Hello World" with Torine. II" which was released on 25 November 2022, contained yet another five songs: "Extremes" with Trevor Daniel, "Shut Up" with UPSAHL, "Catch Me If You Can" with Sorana, "Lovesick" with Sophie Simmons, then later on "Ritual".
Along with each of his musical achievements, Alan Walker is also mostly known for his usual public appearance - which is him in a hoodie and face mask - as well as his logo which was his initials intertwined. According to him, it is to keep a low profile, but then also stated that the mask is now more of a sign of unity and being alike each other.
Throughout his decade-long and counting career, he amassed over 40M YouTube subscribers - notably being the second most subscribed EDM artist, and 50 billion audio and video streams.

There is something in your eyes that brings me home
'Cause when there's love, you don't let go
So as long as you're with me you're not alone, you'll never be
I wanna tell you what I feel and really mean it
I wanna shout it from the rooftops to the sky
'Cause if you ever need a friend you know I'll be it
From tonight until we see the end of time
I'll cross my heart
And hope to die
We're always and forever, I'll be by your side
When days are dark
And stars don't align
We're always and forever 'til the end
The end of time
When we look back, and when we're old
We'll see your footprints next to mine along the road
And I don't know, what the future holds
But as long as you're with me you're not alone, you'll never be
I wanna tell you what I feel and really mean it
I wanna shout it from the rooftops to the sky
'Cause if you ever need a friend you know I'll be it
From tonight until we see the end of time
I'll cross my heart
And hope to die
We're always and forever, I'll be by your side
When days are dark
And stars don't align
We're always and forever 'til the end
The end of time
I'll cross my heart
And hope to die
We're always and forever, I'll be by your side
When days are dark
And stars don't align
We're always and forever 'til the end
The end of time
The end of time
The lyrics of Alan Walker's "Time" express a feeling of deep and undying love towards someone special. The singer gives a sense of comfort and assurance of his presence for the person whom he loves. In the first verse, he talks about how there are certain signs that tell someone when things are right, when they have found the person they want to spend time with. The lyrics "There is something in your eyes that brings me home" conveys the idea that there is a spark or a connection between them which gets them closer.
The chorus of the song is a pledge of commitment to always be there for the person he loves. It is a promise that no matter what happens, good or bad, he will never leave the side of the person he loves. The lyrics "I'll cross my heart and hope to die" expresses a serious vow to stay together and fight through everything.
In the second verse, the singer talks about the future and how they will look back on their lives, seeing their footprints next to each other. The lyrics "But as long as you're with me you're not alone, you'll never be" signifies that all they need is each other to feel content and happy in life.
Overall, the song talks about the strength of love and how it can transcend time and space. The lyrics emphasize the importance of having someone to rely on in all aspects of life.
