This Alison didn't fall down anything; she jumped head first down the rabbit hole and landed straight on the decks. Armed with turntables, a killer vibe and an open mind, Alison turns countless dance floors across Australia into your favourite kind of Wonderland: more beats, less croquet.
Beginning with a background in indie and classical, Wonderland's best card is her eclecticism. Throughout her youth she toured Europe as a principal cellist for the Sydney Youth Orchestra and later played bass in a successful local indie band.
After inking a global deal with EMI, Wonderland released her debut compilation record - "Welcome To Wonderland" mid 2012, while her much anticipated first original's album is due out very soon! If the success of her remixes is anything to go by the record is set to be a game changer.
Wonderland has performed in LA at the official Grammy's Afterparty, all throughout Ibiza on top of MOS and the Brit Awards Afterparty in London. In Australia she has torn up main stages at Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Southbound Festival, Stereosonic, Field Day, Parklife (nationally), Good Vibrations Festival, Harbourlife, Sydney Fashion Week, Future Music Festival, Coaster Festival, Secret Garden Festival and more, not to mention her sellout headline national tours.
The end of 2012 saw Wonderland taking the highly prestigious summer festival time slots. Playing main stage at Falls Festival in a headline slot after Hot Chip to a capacity crowd, Supporting PNAU Live at Wonderland Festival in Perth & again destroying the headline time slot after SBTRKT to a heaving tent at Southbound Festival this all within 1 WEEK!
Wonderland is the party, rumour has it she never sleeps and is reasonably good friends with Oprah.

Staring at the sky 'cause I'm still too high
Thinkin' 'bout you
'Cause you're the closest thing to a real life friend, and I
I wanna feel okay
I wanna be the way we were
Can't imagine if you're gone one day
And I'm never gonna make you choose
Don't you know you're someone that I just can't lose?
Don't you know you're someone that I just can't lose?
I know I'm overtryin'
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Blame it on the fear of
I sound crazy
But sometimes it's the only way that I can speak
Hope you hear me
If you're not around, then my life is bleak
I wanna feel okay
I wanna be the way we were
Can't imagine if you're gone one day
It's been playin' on my brain
And I'm never gonna make you choose
Don't you know you're someone that I just can't lose?
Don't you know you're someone that I just can't lose?
I know I'm overtryin'
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Blame it on the fear of
Fear of, fear of
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Fear of, fear of
Blame it on the fear of dyin'
Fear of, fear of dyin'
Blame it on the fear of
Fear of (fear of), fear of (fear of)
Fear of, fear of (fear of dyin')
Fear of (fear of), fear of (fear of)

The lyrics to Alison Wonderland's song "Fear Of Dying" express the artist's vulnerability and fear of losing someone who is important to her. The song begins with the singer in a contemplative state, late at night, looking at the sky while under the influence of drugs. In this state, she is consumed by thoughts of the person she holds dear, someone who is the closest thing to a real friend in her life.
The singer yearns to feel okay and longs to go back to the way things used to be with this person. The fear of losing them one day has been tormenting her mind, playing on repeat. She emphasizes that she will never make this person choose between her and something else, as they mean too much to her. She recognizes their irreplaceable presence in her life and acknowledges her own effort in trying too hard to hold onto them.
The chorus reveals that the singer blames her own fear of dying for the intensity of her emotions and her desperate attempts to cling onto this person. She admits that she may sound crazy, but sometimes, her fear is the only way she can express herself. Without this person around, she feels a sense of emptiness in her life, accentuated by the word "bleak."
Overall, "Fear Of Dying" is a heartfelt and honest expression of the artist's anxieties and attachment to someone she deeply cherishes, as well as her fear of losing them.
