Hi cousin, thanks. It was the days of Tarak (bought out later by Coca-Cola), those 'Screwball' ice cream cones with a chewy at the very bottom and of course 4 'n' twenty pies and the tomato sauce injection! Happy days! Back in 1964 the number one hit was 'Please Don't Talk To The Lifeguard' by Laurel Lee. I can still remember that tune! Lots of love xxx Andy

Hi and thanks for your kind comment. Australia has many of these colonial style homes and of course you find them in South Africa, New Zealand, Tasmania, Canada and the USA - particularly in San Francisco. The Bahamas, South America, India and Asia has them too. They were built mostly from the mid 1800's onward and were a very popular design. Today such restored homes are fashionable, highly desireable - and can be expensive depending of course on their condition and location.
