He was the only male child of the singer Lola Flores and the guitarist Antonio González, aka El Pescailla.
His musical style is pop-rock with influences of gypsy songwriting. His first record was "Antonio" (1980), which featured songs as "No dudaría" and "Pongamos que hablo de Madrid", this one covered later by Joaquin Sabina. His third album, "Gran Vía" (1988) was unnoticed when released, but later some songs as "Gran Vía" have been publically acknowledged. The last album he recorded, "Cosas mías" (1994) was the most successful one, and included songs as "Siete vidas", "Alba" -dedicated to his daughter- and "Cuerpo de mujer". He wrote songs for his sisters Lolita and Rosario; specifically for Rosario's albums "De ley" (1992) y "Siento" (1993).
Antonio Flores' songs are full of urban poetry, love, regret and memories, musically his tracks embrace a wide spectrum from rock to ballads.
He married Ana Villa, and they got separated later, having had a daughter called Alba.
May 30 1995, only fourteen days after his mother's death, Antonio Flores is found dead in the family house called El Lerele in Madrid, apparently he commited suicide by means of an overdose of heroine. His family got knocked again. Since Antonio's death, his sisters Lolita and Rosario carry the weight of the familiar saga.
After his death, Antonio's talent as songwriter and singer was widely acknowledged: some tributes were organized and retrospective albums released.
In 2002 appeared the album "Para Antonio Flores. Cosas tuyas", edited by his own family which creates the label "Flower Power". In this record sixteen Spanish singers, as Joan Manuel Serrat, Miguel Rios, Antonio Vega and others covered the most famous Antonio Flores' songs.

rectas curvas
curvas rectas
imposibles de aprender
el garabato de un niño
es tu cuerpo de mujer
el garabato de un niño
es tu cuerpo de mujer
Tan solo existe una cosa
Que no puedo comprender
La magia de un laberinto
Que siempre quedo atrapado en el
el garabato de un niño
es tu cuerpo de mujer
rectas curvas
curvas rectas
imposibles de aprender
el garabato de un niño
es tu cuerpo de mujer
el garabato de un niño
es tu cuerpo de mujer
The lyrics to Antonio Flores's song Cuerpo de mujer speak of the wonder and beauty of a woman's body. The first stanza describes the singer's ability to do incredible feats, such as drink from sand and swim over lava, and dream of a sky filled with coral reefs. The second stanza speaks of something that the singer cannot understand, which is the magic of a labyrinth that he always gets trapped in. The singer then compares the curves and lines of a woman's body to the scribblings of a child, saying that they are impossible to learn.
The song celebrates the inexplicable and captivating nature of a woman's body, portraying it as magical and impossible to fully comprehend. The use of imaginative language and comparisons emphasizes the singer's awe and respect for the female form. The repeated line about the magic of the labyrinth represents the singer's fascination with the complexity and mystery of a woman's body.
Overall, the lyrics to Cuerpo de mujer are an homage to the beauty and power of the female body, while also acknowledging the limitations of human understanding.
